It's not even about our overall chances or position. When you can't beat a team with a single win to their name, the only thing you are in the mix for is biggest disappointment of the season. It wasn't an anomalous performance either.

Idk we keep talking about a stupidly chaotic season but we lose against one shit team and we're getting ragey. I don't think I agree the performance overall wasn't anomalous either.
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostByeSure losing Deles output is bad, but tbf to Mourinho they still have Bale, Bergwijn, Moura, Lo Celso, Lamela and Vinicius who should be able to contribute something in attack.
Spurs fans acting like Dele wasn’t shit before he arrived. Please. And trying to act big dick like losing to Liverpool is a big deal... specially when your CBs made those ridiculous individual mistakes.
Vinicius should get a run of games though, I think he’s being undervalued.

By OneTwoTee Go To PostSeems rather naive of our board to only now consider bringing in a cb
Liverpool need a CB? I have just the guy for them, he would be perfect and he already knows his way around the club.
That, just below top 4 and Europa League race is going to get very heated
Just outside it
West Ham 35
Everton 33
Spurs 33
Chelsea 30
Arsenal 30
Goddamn it, I feel nervous!

This is what it is like to know true pain
Roma are in talks over a deal to swap Edin Dzeko for Inter Milan forward Alexis Sanchez.
When are clubs going to learn not to do swap deals for Alexis Sanchez?

Joelinton for Alexis?
By Willkiller Go To PostJoelinton for Alexis?
I'm not even sure I'd do that. At least Joelinton has conceivable resale value.
By Willkiller Go To PostI think you need to watch Newcastle more lads
DO NOT DO THIS
Even as a joke this is more harsh than anything you have said about Manchester Club.

I know true pain. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Mike Ashley is a fucking Cenobite

Are there actually any more bidders at present?

He's still all-in on the Saudi deal. It's going to arbitration behind the scenes in the next month or so.
Basically by the end of next month there'll be a path to completion or....there won't be and he'll have to move on. I personally don't see it happening, but tbh that is based on pure cynicism rather than anything concrete, very few people know what really went on in the summer with that deal. With the Bein situation still unresolved in SA (although it seems like there might....might be movement on that in the not too distant future) I don't see that deal coming back. But who the fuck knows.
Either way, until that comes to a resolution one way or the other...it's that or nothing. Apparently there have been multiple approaches by multiple parties but MA isn't entertaining anything right now. He wants this deal and this deal only until it is 100% off the table.
Morning, lads.
Are we out of Europe yet?
Have we lost yet again?
Is #MOut trending again?
Have we finished 7th yet?
Has Dele #left?

Tottenham is 7 points of second place with a good GD. Can’t fans just ride it instead of falling into the media narrative? Don’t be marks.

Mourinho has to start getting brutal now. Yesterday was shit but he is fixing some things, Sissoko has been dropped and Ndombele and Hojbjerg play as our two central midfielders now. That's much better than it was a few weeks ago. Joe Rodon is getting minutes and is not a daft wimp like our other CBs.
Now it's time for Dier to be dropped, he has cost us too many goals and doesn't deserve to keep his place. Aurier has been better than Doherty so far but he apparently had a meltdown after being subbed off yesterday after his terrible defending on the first goal. Time to take him out too. There has to be a consequence when players repeatedly let the team down.
