Is that a random rumor account or actually somewhat reliable? Cause could very easily just be an educated guess with Mendy, considering Chelsea's own goalkeeper coach kind of broke that a whole year before, talking about how he thought Mendy was the best keeper in France and so on in the press.
While I don't think Mendy is the best keeper in the league or anything, he has been a huge upgrade over Kepa. Would find it weird if Chelsea would go out and spend big again on a new keeper, not really the position that needs it.

Amazing. An actual nothing player just a season or two ago in denmark. One good season in the worst league in Scandinavia (and the other ones sure aren't good either) and he gets 5 and a half years at Watford
