By LabouredPatriot Go To PostYes that's thematically quite important.I know writers who use subtext and they're all cowards.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostIf you liked Nightcrawler, you should definitely watch Shot In The Dark on Netflix.
It's a documentary series about freelance reporters in LA filming crime scenes, accidents and all that stuff just like in Nightcrawler.
Things get quite insane.
word I'll queue it up for this week.
Apparently I made reservations to watch Wrath of Man last night and completely forgot. Anyone watch it or am I the only one going to movie theaters

I do want to see Wrath of Man because I still ride with Statham and Richie.
Flying to LA tomorrow. Any movie recommendations for a 6 hour flight? I can download from HBO Max/Netflix/Prime

All great movies to pass the time, I don't like serious movies on the plane, unless you want those?
Speaking of passing the time, watched Without Remorse yesterday. It's watchable, there's some neat action scenes but the story is so stupid and the post credits scene had me laughing.
I missed the post credits scene (I think). It was not the kind of film one would expect to have a post credits scene.
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostI missed the post credits scene (I think). It was not the kind of film one would expect to have a post credits scene. It's 1 year later, Ritter (who is now the CIA director) meets John in DC, John says that he has a lot of time to think and they need to be prepared for a situation like what happened. He has an idea of an international counter-terrorism task made of people from the UK, US and selected NATO countries, all working together with the support of his countries inteligence service. Ritter asks who would lead that team, John says he will, he wants to show it to the President and hands Ritter a USB drive.
John says he is calling it Rainbow, Ritter asks why and John says it is personal.
As Ritter is leaving he says to John that it's good to have him back, John says it's good to be back and a big orchestral theme starts playing.
Watched the Paddington films for the first time. They were okay, probably better than any Paddington film has any right to be, but nothing to write home about. n8 continues to disappoint me with his film opinions.
Some of the best kids movies in many years. My go to for being tired at work and just letting the kids watch a movie,
I see Dean the uncultured FREAK gave Batman and Robin half a star on letterboxd, you gotta start being a better influence for your brother
Yep that looks surreal as hell and I'm down for that

Looks lovely if nothing else. Hope it maintains the weirdness throughout. I loved the first trailer which had very little dialogue IIRC.
By Lupercal Go To PostHow is Patrick Stewart not at the top of that list?
You wanna get fucked up eh?
By domino Go To Postthey mustve forgotten about Jake doing Southpaw lol. It's still Jake Gyllenhall tho
From the movies at least....spiderman has a pretty awful rogue's gallery. spiderverse kingpin and purple boots guy were cool.

Really looking forward to the new Venom movie. Loved the first one, despite everyone shitting on it
Maybe my expectations were low but I really enjoyed the banter between Venom and Hardy
Bring on the new one
