Crusade is my favourite.

Raiders. No question. Every scene is enthralling

Original plan was 2019 but they wanted more time to shoot the dogfighting scenes, filming ended in June 2019, people got to watch early footage in July.

I've listened to this 7 or 8 times. It's growing on me, I didn't like the dubstep part at first but I am liking it the more I listen to it.

The 1995 version is ICONIC. 2021 fine and I agree with what you said. It wont have the legacy of the original though.

Yeah, very few movie songs will ever have the impact that the 1995 song. You can play that to people that never watched the movie or played the game and they will probably recognize it.
The movie came out in Thailand this week, plenty of sold out shows, reviews have been mixed but fans seem to love it.
I just want it to be successful so we get a sequel.
The producers and director have been very passionate about it and they got a great cast.
Give this franchise an opportunity to grow, MK has never been bigger than it is today and the release of the trailer led to a jump in sales of MK 11.
I like fighting games despite being shit at it, Tekken and Virtua Fighter were my shit growing up but I love the crazy ridiculous lore of Mortal Kombat.
The last Mortal Kombat games have the best story modes in fighting games ever and they have a great cast of fighters, there's a lot of material for the movies to explore.
Still think Cole Young is just lazy screenwriting but I'll give them a pass on that.

Hey man it's all subjective. I loved Tenet as well.

I thought Tenet was good, well... Audacious.

But not excellent.

Yeah maybe not excellent as it's a bit convuluted but enjoyed the premise.

Nolan really is the naughty dog of film making.

Tenet is probably a lot better at home when you can adjust the sound and turn on subtitles.

Palm Springs was good fun. Nice little twist on the basic concept. Don’t think Samberg is a good enough dramatic actor to sell some of the script, but Milioti was great.

Think he was great, his levity sold the concept in a nihilistic and realistic way.

Highly doubt it. They have the data of what 200M+ people like to watch.
For example, don't think I have seen anyone mention Ginny and Georgia here but apparently it is one of Netflix's biggest shows ever.

I don't know about Ginny and Georgia's popularity (Although i can imagine alot of it was brought by the Taylor Swift call out), but CSI is one of the biggest show because of its constant airing and people tuning it out of habit and regularity, regardless of its quality. I know one or two folks who watches every weak of week because thats what they do. The same with the likes of The walking Dead, I have a friend who watches it, despite knowing how awful it because tuning in is a sign of normalicy to him.

If Netflix had that habitual cycles, then fair enough. But if you watch 10 Trashy shows that has you have no draw to you, the at some point then you will get sick of it.

But again, they are the most expensive of the lot.

They have a lot of very good food shows, comedy specials and docs too outside of prestige tv shows.

By far the most world wide variety too, filled to the brim with foreign language content.

Depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for HBO tier series consistently you won't get it. Don't think they've done much in Films.

Trinkets is honestly one of my favourite coming-of-age stories, really underrated
I really love Dead to Me
Unbelievable was incredible too, incredibly moving
On My block is bonkers
The Politician is a guilty pleasure watching, but i love watching assholes be asshole
I also enjoyed the Society, but I can see it being terrible to most out there

But yeah, their Mini-series are way better than their normally scheduled series.

Bojack is the only sustained great show they’ve ever made imo.

-Orange is the New Black was really good for a year or two
- I enjoyed Master of None and Kimmy Schmidt
- American Vandal S1 was brilliant, 2 decent
- Stranger Things is good fun without being revelatory
- they’ve had a few quality limited series (Russian Doll was great, Unbelievable too
- Sex Education, Big Mouth, Mindhunter and Dead to Me are fine
- not too fond of The Crown or Narcos or House of Cards
- not seen Ozark or Bridgerton or Grace and Frankie

I have to watch the last 2 season of Ozark, but I like that one as well, Russian Doll was surprisingly great too

n8 hates the Royals so much he won't watch the The Crown but is still English enough that he doesn't want to listen to mostly spanish of Narcos. The two best shows on Netflix 😂
