Seems like WB need to clean up house as well for being enablers. LOL #feministicon Josh Whedon. He's done.
By inky Go To PostSeems like WB need to clean up house as well for being enablers. LOL #feministicon Josh Whedon. He's done.this is what makes it even more egregious imo, fucks is fucks is fucks, but this breh actually labeled himself a feminist/ally

Watched 'Boys Don't Cry', thought it was well-acted, but not much there in terms of characterisation, everything is pretty on the nose. When you're dealing with a story that's heavy as this, it's got to be a little more subtle and interesting and this, unfortunately, wasn't. The dialogue and situations just felt cringe at times.

Feminisms was never meant to be shouted out loud out to give yourself a higher ground.
Watched Pacific Rim yesterday.
It's okay, don't think it does much to stand above your standard blockbuster action fare. Second one seems a bit shit, don't think I'll watch it. Was surprised to see they gave that budget to a first-time writer/director for a sequel, not sure how common that is

By LFMartins86 Go To PostI don't remember Firewatch being this action packed
I wasn't overly enamoured with Godzilla vs Kong. Not even joking when I say they should've hugged or had a handshake at the end.

I was off my tits on cocaine and it was still dull as fuck.
By Xpike Go To Postthe best part of kong v godzilla is it went full dumbI agree with this take.
dont get me wrong OG zilla and shin godzilla are still the best godzillas ever made but the americans dont seem to get why those work so id rather they keep making full dumb zilla like every toho movie that isnt those 2 movies
Zilla vs Kong wasn't all that bad, everything not featuring the monsters is total crap though and the logic is long gone but decent.
Still think Kong: Skull Island was the most entertaining of all the Godzilla EU.

All I rembember about the 1998 Godzilla film was that it had the most ludicrous tie-in music videos and album including
A banging Jamiroquai song
This daft music video
A cover of heroes that apparently this band got paid half a million for
An original Rage Against The Machine song and music video that had absolutely nothing to do with the film apart from the line "Godzilla pure filler"
This song captures the essence of the movie the best though - Green Day Brain Stew with Godzilla on backing vocals

By Xpike Go To Postmy fav part of the rage song is that is straight up says dont waste your time watching godzilla 1998Zach legit says Godzilla is "pure motherfuckin filler." It's honestly unbelievable the song was on the soundtrack, like they didn't even listen to it.

"What's a Zapatista? That's a cool word!"
By Hitch Go To PostWhy is everyone so scared to admit that The Mummy is better than any Indiana Jones movie?
Cos it's not.
Better than Temple of Doom, though. But so is suffering from gout so who cares.
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostTemple of Doom is my favourite one because it is very racist :)Just turned off my Bleep filter.
Raiders > Crusade > Kingdom >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Temple
Abhorrent, no fun allowed movie. It's so fucking bad even Spielberg regrets it.
