Raya was available in less screens because while Warner Bros played nice with cinemas and gave theaters a bigger percentage to make up for the day and date home release, Disney gave no shits about cinemas.
We will see how much this was successful by how Disney handles the next releases.
I think Cruella is a prime candidate for hybrid release but if Raya really is a success then Black Widow is a possibility.

Watched Coming 2 America and loved it.
There was definitely some VERY noticeable budgets cuts though:
1) Terrible B-roll footage of NYC. Looked like some generic stock footage.
2) James Earl Jones didn't share a scene with anybody. All of his scenes were close ups with no stand-ins or actors around him. The one time we do see actors, they are CGI'd deep in the background.
3) Animal CGI. Although the de-aging for Semmi and Akeem looked good.
Also, I would've loved to see if Darryl and Patrice ended up together LOL. I think they're the only two major characters from the first that weren't in the sequel.

If it had made 200M+, Black Widow would have already came out on a hybrid release because 200M on Disney + Premier Access is the equivalent of 500M$ in the box office.
Watched Us again. If you think about the story for more than 5 minutes none of it makes sense, but it’s supremely well made on a craft level. And Nyong’o is just incredible. Both performances astonishing physically.
