Decided to watch A Brighter Summer Day yesterday. But fuck me, this is 4 hours. Halfway through now, may allah be with me. It's good but get an editor or something.
Was Old Henry any good? It got good reviews of course but wondering has anyone here seen it. Might suggest it to my normie parents.

A bit surprised people loved Kristen Stewart so much in it. I mean she was ok, but it all just felt a little... Over acted. Seemed like a script decision more than her own fault, but the end result was just .... not that amazing.
Was alright though, had some really nice shots in it. Very faded but still good look. Wish they had gone a little more crazy with it.

I'm like a third of the way through and it's ok, seems to be a slow burn. Olivia Colman has been good as always but also subject to hyperbole, as always.
Bet its got like a 30%+ difference between critic score and audience score on RT though. One of those films.

I’m glad I have only ever watched the first film. The sequels sadly are/were so firmly cremated in popular culture though that I still know the jist of the plot for both of them. Playing the second PS2 game also played a part in that too.
