Watched LA Confidential for the first time last night. Mostly a Banger. Made me sad we'll never get LA Noire 2. Guy Pearce's gob was as weird as ever.
Some issues tho. Bud slapping Lynn felt bad. Yes he's an angry boi always but the film repeatedly makes it clear he would happily kill a man over domestic abuse. It's his raison d'etre.
Then he goes and fucks her shit up.
Also Danny Devito's character is just Mr. Convenience for the plot. Feels like he will be a major character in the film initially then he fucks off and comes back only to move things forward for other characters. Disappointing. I like Mr Doritos. He deserved better.
But I have to play Halo now good evening

Let's be honest here: in this day and age you just can't keep a lid on a secret. Everything is spoiled by some kid on set with a 108MP android cameraphone or some CG artist straight up spoiling the entire plot. If this multiverse plotline would have been kept secret and you'd have no idea while sitting in the cinema, you would have ripped out your fucking hair about Tobey, Garfield, Molina and Defoe.
