Was he in the original? I haven't seen it. (Edit: I googled and he wasn't)
And is the Snyder cut black and white? (Edit: I googled and only got SEO results)

By Daz Go To PostIf we think Armie's antics are weird - Leto is probably worse.
Nah, Armie was dropped by his manager, agent, and publicist. Whatever exposé is coming is going to reveal something huge.

So far, there's no connection between the both.

Would be pretty fucking wild if the dude from The Social Network turned out to be a serial killer and it isn’t Zuckerberg

Was pretty excited to watch Saint Maud, not hugely into horror but it had some excellent reviews and you know, I like my "SHOCKING ENDINGS!"
I was not shocked. Film was okay though, not great. I'm a bit of a soft boi when it comes to horror but apart from like one rank scene which had me squirming (not even a scary one, it's just fucking minging) it's quite light on it. As for the film overall I just felt like I'd seen a lot of it before. Good but nowt special.
The Welsh lass who played Maud/Katie was very good though, interested to see how she does as Galadriel in the LOTR show.

Great film. But up there with Come and See as one of the most intensely miserable things you will ever fucking see.
Snyder sucks. The guy thinks he's making stuff from the early 2000's and still considers it to be COO.

Was looking at the Oscar shortlists that were released yesterday.
This fucking shit is in a shortlist of 10 possible nominees?

Was gonna mention Prisoners as my point of reference, and Hard Rain.
Think Seven is on Netflix, remember most of the skeleton of it, hazy enough on the details that I could watch it again though.

Se7en is so good. If you haven't seen Zodiac as well, do watch that. Not so much rain but just as good
By n8 dogg Go To PostWatchmen credits sequence is still breathtakingThat's pure Snyder tbh
but that was probably an in house credits team
By Hitch Go To PostLads recommend me moody films where it's pissing it down the whole timeBlade Runner/BR 2047.
Preferably crime thrillers.
Horse already mentioned it but it needs to be said again.
Watched a few things over the past couple of days.
Jurassic Park still holds up pretty damn well; I don't know if it's because I've seen it many times, but the first hour is really ... uneventful. Lovely world building, but it could've easily been cut down to 40-45mins, especially after they get to the island and before the shit hits the fan.
The Dig is a nice little film about a historic archeological excavation in Suffolk, carried by Fiennes and Mulligan. The latter looks like she's well into her 40s in the movie, which I thought made sense seeing how she plays a sickly woman in the pre-WW2 era ...
... however I also saw Promising Young Woman and she looks much closer to 40 than 30 (her age in the film) there, so my main takeaway here is that Carey Mulligan is not going to age gracefully. The film was pretty good, ending included.
Love & Monsters was surprisingly enjoyable. Nothing special, really, just a competent, well-paced post-apocalyptic comedy with heart.

I was similarly surprised by Love and Monsters. Couple of the monster designs were nasty too, particularly the insect one in the swamp woodland area.

Snyder does his own credits. Makes sense when you realized he's a commercial and music video director
