True Detective S2 is unspeakably bad, but I can't really say it's any of the actors' faults.
This is why they absolutely shouldn't do a S4, by the way. Pizza Man can't be trusted.

By aka Espi Go To PostI never watched it but I remember people liking Taylor in True Detectiveno you dont
Yeah S3, was just sort of ok with the odd decent performance. S1 was just a flash in the pan of things that came together just right, largely because Cary almost killed himself pulling it together.
By reilo Go To PostRemember when Scott Eastwood got cast in Fast and Furious and everyone was wondering why that human mannequin got paid to be in movies? Was he in Suicide Squad?
Because of his last name
I haven't seen SS.

Taylor Kitsch, Sam Worthington, Channing Tatum, Josh Duhamel, Chris Pine, Liam Hemsworth, Bradley Cooper.
Some have obviously done better than others but wet fucking paper.

S3 of True Detective felt like it never took the story where it wanted, and then info dumped in a 10 minute spree to "make it whole"

Not a person alive can name a role they liked Sam Worthington or Scott Eastwood in
Fuck, that means I am dead, lads.
Ready Player One - entertainingly vacuous, one can only hope Spielberg was self-aware enough to realise this film’s exploitation of his legacy makes it look like a fucking disaster. Some kinetic action scenes and one stunning Shining-inspired sequence aside, this is nothing remarkable whatsoever. What is it trying to say? Nostalgia pandering is dangerous? Harmless? Keeps the past alive? A waste of time? No idea. It’s just a film full of noise and smashy things. Fun enough for two hours. Forgotten eighty five percent of it already and it’s been finished for six minutes.
Watched the Brood there. Bit of a stinker. Dreadful, overbearing Howard Shore score too. Interesting/concerning that it was inspired by Cronenberg's failed marriage.
Watched Promising Young Woman. Loved it, Mulligan was absolutely incredible in it but man, that ending was wild.
By Freewheelin Go To PostRewatched Arrival tonight, still makes me emotional fuck ;_;great movie. imagine if it had great performances too. could be goat tier.

Almost every movie in the world could be improved by replacing Jeremy Renner.
He’s fucking great in The Town though. His rat face suits the character wonderfully.

By n8 dogg Go To PostHaven’t seen Wind River tbh. He is fine in Arrival. He’s often nothing better but fine.Something you should rectify immediately.
Yeah, I don't think he's a great actor, but given the right material he'll show up and get the job done.
By reilo Go To PostHorse level post
By Daz Go To PostI will not stand for this Renner hate.
By Freewheelin Go To PostAquaman is ludicrous and not in a fun way, it's actually quite boringPlease don't tell me that you're rewatching it.

Like, how do you cast Willem Dafoe and not have him go crazy!?
I liked it, but I haven't rewatched it. Kinda boring in the middle but the constant "I can't believe they're doing this"-ness wins out for me
watched sorry to bother you
its all fun and games until musk reveals his own horse human hybrid in 2027

Rewatching the Final Destinations.
First one is a good high concept lil thriller. Second one has more fun exploring that concept but suffers from po-face-ness. Third one is apex of the series - just 89 minutes of a great fucking laugh.
