So went into to work today and turns out I had another day off booked as vacation so I went in a day early 😂
So used to work seems doing nothing subconsciously sent myself back into work.

Found a job in RPA Development and I do web dev free lance on the side, but a month ago I went to Amazon Fulfillment for fitness / work gap, thinking I might need something to hold me until after the holidays if I wanted something in tech. They were offering a 3k sign on bonus.
I'm not good on heights at all, and they had me as an order picker:
Fear is the mind killer and I will will permit it to pass over me and through me, or whatever, so I gave it a go. I think the third day of work they had me go as high as possible, walk out into the cage and jump around in it to prove I wasn't shook. Brehhhs.....I did it but fuck.
I literally got one day of training on how to drive and operate the thing, meanwhile all the veterans are flying through the lanes, honking horns, etc. I didn't know where to fucking park the thing. I was up to the ceiling of the building, not able to find the fucking box that the scanner was yelling at me to find, meanwhile I was holding up the queue. I didn't know where to go to fill the fukin thing up with gas either.
Another area, they wanted you to pick shit out of shelves, but the scanner was literally giving you 7 seconds to find and grab each item. All without being allowed headphones or anything for your sanity.
During that shift I parked my car before break, took off my harness, sat in the car and contemplated my life choices, and hit the "fuck this shit" resign button built into the Amazon work app.

Amazon is easily the worst company I've ever worked for, and I didn't even directly work for them since their involvement at Whole Foods was mostly just yelling at us to cut costs and sell more Prime memberships. I literally sat on a conference call one time where Amazon leadership was telling us they were cutting store labor budgets (they totally gutted them) and said that we just had to do more with less.
