If I ever get a pet, it will be something cool like an ostrich or red panda.

By Smokey Go To PostAny bird owners in here
There's a few latinos here so some of us have mother's with birds
By Daz Go To PostIf I ever get a pet, it will be something cool like an ostrich or red panda.Dogs and cats are so popular because they are much easier to interact with while also not requiring as much specialized care and also live a decently long time. Few other pet animals can compete with all that.

I've looked into seeing what it would take to own a bat or a capybara, and, yeah, dogs and cats are much easier, cheaper, and more fun.

I have no pets because I don't have the square footage but two to three cats roam the outside of my property 24/7, that's good enough for me
When I do achieve elite status at age 56 or whatever and own more land surrounding my house I'll probably go for the dog. Something mellow and low-maintenance

Wonderful to see people still being that happy even after such a long time. Keep going strong!

Nah, all the studies say single men die sooner, so we'll be outta here first.

But speaking relativistically, if his time is flying due to marriage and flying faster due to kids, he should still prefer to be single.
By Pac-12 Go To PostBut speaking relativistically, if his time is flying due to marriage and flying faster due to kids, he should still prefer to be single. It's flying because he's enjoying it. I have younger siblings and the joy they have just seeing you visit how they run up so excited and hug you and grab you it's an incredible feeling. Now I can only imagine being a parent seeing the pure joy your child has when you come home from work. Must be pure bliss.
By Lunatic Go To PostHaving a good family unit definitely leads to living longer.Yeah this should really be obvious to anyone lmao

What is there to do in Dallas? Gonna be there a few days since my wife has to go there for training for her new job. I get to tag along all expenses paid so why not?
Planning on going to the Mavericks vs Rockets game but wondering what else to do there.

Arboretum, art galleries, museums, a million places to eat, etc. I haven't been in Dallas proper much but is there anything in particular you have interest in?

Get ready to experience one of the worst highways in America
I plan on doing minimal driving. Last thing I want to deal with is Texas road rage where people can carry easily.
What are some good restaurants to eat at?

I don’t really care too much about museums bc there’s enough here, so unless it offers something unique that I haven’t seen or experienced I usually stay away from museums.

This is very real btw. I know In NY people like to honk at everybody but do not do that shit down there.

Last thing I want to deal with is Texas road rage where people can carry easily.I would have to look things up and ask my gf what she knows about, but what part of Dallas are you in, since you want to keep driving to a minimum? Because the city is fuck-huge. Can take you damn near an hour to cross it, even on the toll-road with no traffic. I am up in north Dallas and there are some good bbq and great asian places around here.

Some people love their horn a little too much. I don’t use mine as much, only when someone wants to do the speed limit in the passing lane and stay next to the car in the middle lane
