It'll suck at first but you'll get used to it then it'll suck again as your skin starts to get more irritated. But you're getting text and it shouldn't get to that point since it doesn't take that long. Every time you wash your hands, wash your tattoo too(assuming they don't use a healing wrap like sanidrerm). Find out what aftercare lotion they want you to use and put that on after you wash it for the first couple days. I usually use bacetracin which you can find at any pharmacy
If it looks faded after a couple days, don't freak out. that's part of how it heals and it should go away after a day or so. And be prepared to have to trust thee urge to scratch it because it will get itchy at some point

They are in a relatively safe area, albeit isolated. Mostly worried about trees getting knocked into the house.

I cleaned a mousepad after 2 years of use and I too was shocked how dirty the water coming out of it was.
Wait until you pull up carpet to replace it and then see how much dust penetrates and never gets picked up regardless of how much you vacuum.

First thing that's getting done to my new townhouse is ripping the carpet out on the third floor. The builder gave a ton of options for the house, but for whatever reason, a non-carpeted third floor was not one of them. I have nice LVP on the bottom 2 floors, hardwood on the staircases (came standard), but carpet on the third.
Replacement flooring is being delivered Saturday, then I have to schedule the installation.
Only after the new flooring is down will I consider moving in, though I'm still leaning towards painting first.

My flat has two smallish (30m^2) rooms with carpet. We hoover weekly and each room can still fill up the entire tank of our cordless Dyson. No pets either.

The first house I owned had original wood floors from the 50’s as the subfloor with carpet on top. My wife and I ripped that up first day we got the keys. Worked late as fuck that night. There was a couple spots with water damage, but in general it was in good condition. I sold and bought another house before I could refinish those old floors.
