Pretty lucky with allergies all around.
When food is extra greasy it can happen that my stomach reacts, but the rest is fine.

By DY_nasty Go To PostI'm lucky. I grew out of lactose intolerance around 20 or so. Had a friend who was allergic to shellfish and he basically lived in fear.Oh god a shellfish allergy sounds hellish. Same with something like peanuts, fucking every bit of processed food may contain that shit.
By Laboured Go To PostI'm lightly allergic to shellfish and it sucks. You should probably choose death at this point
By Perfect Blue Go To PostAny of y’all have any dietary restrictions? I don’t touch dairy products and had a milkshake yesterday for the first time in a long time and yeah, became rooted to the toilet for the rest of the day. Think I may be lactose intolerant on some level.Avocado, randomly, and perplexingly
i have a small allergic reaction to some raw fruits and a nuts but since i don't really like either that much it's no biggie.
By blackace Go To Postluckily can eat anything.
Yeah same.
No big allergies. Had a dairy one when I was younger that gave me laryngitis and cold symptoms but it's gone now
Drinking milk is 50/50 for me. Sucks so I stick to lactose-free milk which is sweetish but you get used to it. Costco brand pretty good.
Gonna be too hot this week. AC doesn't really work on 100+ days. Almost wish I was back in the office

At lease Vegas has hookers and blow. I don’t understand why Palm Springs is some popular Summer destination spot. It’s so oppressively hot there. Golf? You can golf in a lot of places. Like we all know why Moscow isn’t some popular destination spot in the Winter.

For big stuff with glass that I no longer had the boxes for and frames I wrapped them up stuff like this:
Random protip (shelf liner way cheaper than getting tons of bubble wrap).
Moving is just so stressful especially fragile things. And over long distances.

My parents are giving me their old couch when I move into the new apartment(since my roommates already have one at this one). I aint ever moving another couch again.
I still have no idea how I’m ever going to move my 65” OLED. Just moving it upstairs with someone had me on pins and needles. It’s as thin as a mirror and you need to grab in such a way to not cause it to bend and crack. If I ever move I believe I will just sell it...

i paid extra for my movers to build a custom box for the 77'' oled, and properly protect it on the trip up. Nervous af about it.
Just insure it and hope it blows up lol wtf you stressing for
I legit get upset when my stuff makes it to me all in one piece

By Blue Go To PostSounds expensive. Hope that comes with a warranty. 😬
It was ~$500 extra for them to build the custom solution. Otherwise they would've got a standard TV moving box and packaged it that way. Doesn't help that the TV isn't a "normal" size at almost 80''. They'll come out and do that next week.
i should've kept the original box but that mf was huggeee and taking up a ton of space.
By i can get you a toe Go To PostI keep some tv boxes in the attic/basement for reasons like this.
we're in an apt. i tried for as long as i could, but wifey ran out of patience with it lol

Selling it and using that money to buy the previous year model when prices drop on Slickdeals is gonna be my move probably.

Had coffee for the first time in like a year. Drank 3 cups of black coffee which is surprising because I usually load it with cream n sugar
What hayfever tablet do yous lot use?
Been using Benadryl the last few years, but this year it seems to only be working for about six hours, and not covering all symptoms the way it used to. If I've developed a resistance to stuff that is in all hayfever medicine, pray4me.

Home Depot sells tv moving boxes for like $20. I just bought some bubble wrapped and put the tv in the box. It’s surprisingly well made and I’m pretty sure it extends to 85”. My CX survived a move with just me and my younger brother.
If you paying movers then all that shit is insured anyway so if they fuck it up you got a brand new tv

This is true , however, my first thought wasn't to get a $20 box for my $3500+ TV tbh. And it's kind of different if you're the one driving and transporting it.
$500 isn't all that much either, when the move is costing thousands.
Today has been tough. Had to put my cat to sleep an hour ago after she deteriorated rapidly over the week. She went peacefully with the whole family around her at the vet. RIP Rocky. Really going to miss her.
