By sohois Go To PostMilos is probably my favourite seafood place in London
Will check this out!
By Kidjr Go To PostIt's got some decent spots for seafood. St John's, j sheeky, umu etcwent to a fancy rooftop one in Ssouthwark just before lockdown started last year. Was let down especially when they were charging such high prices.
I guess what I really want is a seafood buffet - so I can live out my Homer Simpson fantasy.
since we're on food still
are there some particular brand of cocktail peanuts that stands out? im pretty sure i could be doing better than planters in 2021

then suddenly you develop an allergy to all things sea
that's me.
I'll never experience NOLA that way I was meant to
My friend's dad was raised in Hawaii. Basically lived off seafood. A few years ago he went out to eat. After a few pieces of shrimp he started breaking out and had to be rushed the hospital
It's nuts how our bodies hate us
By Smokey Go To Postanybody here p gud with taxes?Go to a tax accountant.
old man pac?
By Pac-12 Go To PostI just use TurboTax.if your smokey rich you need someone who knows the loopholes.
Smokey has multiple properties, investments, home office, multiple income streams so Turbo Tax isn't for him if he isn't versed in the tax code. Pay a tax accountant Smokey. All of that shit is easy as hell for them.
Smokey you should get a CPA if you have a ton of income streams especially if you got property, that's a whole fucking thing in and of itself considering business write-offs, repairs and devaluations.
By Dr Espi Go To PostMan going to different states to try out wagyu and you recommend him TurboTax?
Once Trump increased the standard deduction to 24k, he made taxes a lot simpler unless you have a lot of write offs. I’ve done turbo tax last two years. May go back to my tax dude next year though as I’m dabbling some in stocks now

Statement of fact, not an endorsement. If Smokey is rich enough, he can try tax evasion.
I'd go so far as to say you can find competent tax people through H&R block too. My mom's pro even brought her forms back to her residence last year during the pandemic, so she definitely tried to get her this year. Uploading her stuff was mad easy through their website this time round so I didn't even need to drop off papers for her. She has a bunch of pension/stock crap which is why she gets a pro on it.
By LunaticNotFounder Go To Post*tax avoidancemitigation if you will
We have a guy now yeah. once you're in another bracket it's easy to just let someone else take care of that shit lol
I've gotten a refund every year and this year we owed 3k. The funny thing is it was the exact amount of our stimulus and we had already donated it lol

Was more inquiring about a tax question than somebody to do my taxes. I haven't found that person yet, but its definitely happening with my wife being self employed and making a large leap with her business. I did it last year but felt I was pushing up against some shit that a tax accountant would be better off doing.
What was yalls main toyline as a kid?
Me and my brother had buckets full of toybiz X-men shit as a kid between the two of us. I had some Star Wars figures too because I loved Star Wars but I remember that shit being smaller than X-men and costing more. Star Wars always been a ripoff.

Transformers and TMNT were about equal for me. I liked the movie TMNT figures more than the other TMNT ones because they were made of this flexible rubber stuff that made them more fun to play with.
Transformers are just always cool/neat to me because of the engineering behind them. I used to transform them back and forth just to figure out how they worked.

If your wife has her own business you should 100 have a tax person.
Don't know how many times it has to be said before Smokey gets it. Stop wasting time because you are moving states as well. Get on it!
By data Go To PostWhat was yalls main toyline as a kid?Power Rangers for straight action figures, I think I was given a bootleg version of all 5 original members, and the green ranger flute/knife

So I'm potentially leaving my job with health insurance for another job with health insurance. How does that work ? Am I just stuck with the old provider until the enrollment period comes up?
By data Go To PostSo I'm potentially leaving my job with health insurance for another job with health insurance. How does that work ? Am I just stuck with the old provider until the enrollment period comes up?You need to check with your current employer to see how long your insurance is good for and also see when you can enroll for insurance with your new employer.
My new job had a 60 day wait period so I had two options for keeping coverage during that gap:
1) Keep my current coverage with my previous employer but pay the non-discounted rate (it was a little over $500 a month, iirc)
2) Get some insurance on the national health insurance exchange to cover the two months. Changing jobs counts as a "life-altering event" which means you can enroll outside of the normal enrollment period.
I guess you could also get some private health insurance but that is probably the least cost-effective solution, but may be worth looking into.
