So this bitch that killed my friends' father got out of prison, she was charged with second degree murder, sentenced to life but got paroled after 16 years. Backstory is that he was trying to leave her, she got angry and stabbed him to death, she also stabbed my friend (16 at the time) who tried to get her off his father. If I were younger I'd probably burn her house down, knowing she's free just doesn't sit right with me and never will. My friend had to watch his father die right in front of him, neither him or his brother ever been the same, she ended more than just 1 life..

Being unemployed has my mind in absolute overdrive trying to figure out what's the right next move for now and 5 years down the road. I stress a lot over being an only child and being tasked with having to care for both parents in the next 10-15 years. I want to be able to help them. I also want to own a home. I'd like to have a job that'll let me travel on their dime and would pay for advanced degrees.
I almost went to the Air Force back when I was 22 but I wasn't ready. Feels weird to go in turning 30 in May but it seems like the best option to raise the ceiling/floor on my QoL. I also desperately need some structure and adventure.
