You know how there’s a shortage of videocards? I still don’t have a RTX 3090 but I thought I’d splurge this weekend and finally buy the Rolex I’ve been wanting for the past 6 years. Apparently even during a pandemic it’s near impossible to find a Submariner in stock at an AD. If I’m not paying scalper prices for a videocard then I’m not paying them for a watch either.
I wanted to upgrade from my Camry this year to something more exciting like a (used) Porsche Cayman but apparently I would have to hunt for one of those as well. Is there a shortage of everything these days? Sigh

If I wasn’t married I would have no clue. My wife will bake Christmas cookies and shit. She reaches out. My last house I had to very nice busy body retired neighbors. We knew them cause they both rang the doorbell like day 2 of us moving in. Tbey were nosy, but also good neighbors. It was like a constant neighborhood watch

Nope. Two other tenants on my floor and not even seen one. Although, the one who recently moved in had left a nice bag of candies with a nice note on my door. Pretty sure the girl nexts to me works in a sexy bar. Random pick ups in a van at 10pm is a pretty big sign.
Know my neighbour opposite me enough to trust her with a spare key and having had some conversations about her 19 year old son and his outbreaks at times. Turns out that missing out on uni and not seeing your friends and gf can make you quite unstable in Covid times.

People across the road because they moved in recently and put a postcard through the letterbox with their names and phone numbers in it. Guy next to them because he runs a fucking auto-mechanic business out of his garage and driveway, fucking the whole street off with his shit, especially the number of olds who complain it's dropped the value of their property. Doesn't have the planning permission to run a commercial business from his property supposedly, so these same olds have been collecting information on how many and when he's working on vehicles for the council.
