By Zabojnik Go To PostIt Takes Two … keeb+mouse or joypad?it's a platformer
I’m playing on PS5 so I don’t have the option of kb/m but I think this is one of the rare games that would play better on a pad.

I understand we all like different things but wtf

Probably dropping Disco to go back to it. May come back to disco at some point with a different build and see if it is any better.

Int and Psyche are way more fun than Physique and Motorics (aside from my boy Shivers), the latter is mostly just to pass physical checks really, which could lead to interesting interactions, but if you're all about full psychosis then stick with the first two lol.
By Yurtlicious Go To Postdrop it then lmaolol. I think I did 4-6-1-1 with an emphasis on empathy or something along those lines.

if you vomit twice while looking at the hanged corpse you'll unlock Volumetric Shit Compressor which raises your health to 4

Think I played like 15 mins when it first launched on PS4, so probably will be making a new account to take advantage of the free trial and trying it on PS5. If the content up to lv60 is sizeable then might be able to convince a few mates to jump in.
Done with the first It Takes Two session, I think we stopped just before the mecha wasp. It's very good, the voice acting, all of it.
I hope it's gonna get a bit harder going forward though.
Joypad is the way to go, yeah.

On the play through stay on the main story path and ignore the side quests outside of the job quests you get every 5 levels. First half of a realm reborn is a chore most of the time it gets better at the the back half. You get the first expansion and it is were things really pick up

Even if you do the bare minimum to race to the free play cap, it's literal days worth of content.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostEnded up finishing Disco Elysium after all. There really wasn’t much left.

I talked to the cryptid with my Inland skill. Lovely bug

seems like everybody hated Infinite, why?
it was just as bad/good as the the other two lol
@sy @espi
i'm calling it, the random upgrades will suck, and you can't do that in a roguelike.

I remember infinite getting lots of praise at launch.
I've only ever played a couple hours of bioshock 1. Prey reminded me of it.

PS4 first 7 months:
-resogun
-knack

By Yurtlicious Go To Postseems like everybody hated Infinite, why? It's way worse. It doesn't hold up at all to scrutiny because the story is nonsense and handwaves away all the ideas that the game itself raises because it's not actually interested in any of it. It can't even commit to a stance on racism. It's what an idiot thinks is smart.

First 2/3 of Infinite is fucking great. Falls to bits at the end narratively and in pretty much every imaginable aspect of design but man, until a very specific point, Bioshock Infinite was such a good game.
I liked infinite too. Even when it got kind of bad at the end, i could easily push myself through it. Unlike bioshock 2
By sy Go To PostThat's what the industry needs.

Very linear compared to previous games, repetitive encounters, huge downgrade from prerelease “”gameplay”” that was shown off, actually bad story.
Art style was nice though. Been meaning to replay it for nearly ten years. Every time I get close, I remind myself of the ghost boss fight that’s repeated 3 times in a row that’s about as fun as reading the bad Disco Elysium takes ITT.
I think more than anything though, the initial swathe of praise it received turbocharged a counter-culture of nerds to excessively hate it beyond any reasonable amount.
Bioshock 1 wasn't good because of the story, outside of the twist (which was clever) It was the setting of the game that made it.
infinite's best part is the first hour or so
as soon as you start shooting it all goes down
and why was the game about quamtum physics and shit at the end

Unfortunately the Diablo 2 Remaster Alpha was closed today. Here are my impressions:
Remaster looks great, even if it's a bit stiff in terms of animation. Furthermore a few dark areas are obviously too dark with the new lighting engine. Performace was a bit iffy with my rig (Zen2 3600 and 1050Ti)
Needs a few QoL fixes though - I don't have the patience for inventory tetris. Nor do I wanna click and move the mouse around to quickly sell junk at a trader. Switching over to the old graphics though didn't really hurt the fun to be honest. Actually a few parts were better playable that way.
If you liked D2 you'll like D2R.
It's as simple as that. Is it worth 40$? If you still have the time to play grindy games you played 20 years ago...

I liked infinite.
The ones dissapointed were looking for deeper meaning that wasn't there. The game was definitely rushed cause the tech simply wasn't there to meet its ambitions.
It's a shame it turned out to be just another fps.
It's hilarious that Ratchet and Clank will the game to fulfil Bioshock Infinite's destiny.

I've started listening to the Critical Role actual play Dungeons and Dragons podcast.
Now all I can hear is Laura Bailey's voice in like half the video games I play. She's in everything.

I liked Infinite as well. With a little less narrative wankery and (way) more varied encounter and general gameplay design it could've been a great game.
