By Kabro Go To Postyou really gonna give up on a top 25 under 25 for a whodafuck?Huerter is better at defense, shooting, dribbling, and scoring at all three levels. Lonzo is better at passing.

Wait what? Orlando is a basketball desert…
team literally hasn't had a pg in months so we're on g-league reject number 4 at this point
Is it me or is the 4 vs 5 matchup in the west one of the worst spots to be in? Imagine a denver 4 and lakers 5 first round matchup both could go to the finals but would be guaranteed to be out. Even the clippers/denver or battle of LA could be first round, those were the presumed western conference finals going into the season

Git gud. Nets might have to play perennial conference final contender Celtics in rd 1 and we ain't complaining.
Clippers are going to get absolutely smoked if we fall to four
I'm excited for a Nuggets/Lakers rematch tho

By n8 dogg Go To PostFun read
268 total minutes of Durant + Harden, and Durant comes back this week with Harden out lol
Every variation seems to draw on different supporting parts, most of whom were scrapped or disregarded by other teams. Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot has logged more minutes for the Nets this season than Durant. Brooklyn’s best basketball, by the numbers, has come with lineups featuring Claxton, who played more minutes in the G League last season than he did in the NBA. Joe Harris is the unsung hero of this experimental era, not only for appearing in every game and leading the team in minutes, but for moving and shooting in a way that makes more sense of any combination of players.
The most unpredictable superteam night in and night out since the 90s Rockets.

Just wanted to say thanks for encouraging me all, lads. Four months ago I could name very few basketball players (MJ, LeBron, Kobe, Shaq, KAJ, Garnett, Harden, Rodman, Curry, Barkley) and even fewer teams (Knicks, Lakers, Bulls, Warriors). I based my decision to watch basketball based on the fear of a second lockdown and no football, trusting the mad Americans to keep playing no matter what.
I loaded up 2K, had fun playing as Gobert and LaVine, but ultimately looked through every team's name, logo and jersey colours and decided on the Brooklyn Nets. Then I looked up their past records and saw they had never won an NBA title, that they regularly finished mid-table or dumped out of the play-offs, and consciously decided to support an underdog, never having heard of Kyrie Irving or Kevin Durant.
Now I'm watching Pistons-Magic at 1 in the morning, I have requested today to sign up for beginner/recreational basketball on a Tuesday night, I've started telling all the 12 year olds at school who call me a bandwagoner that actually I started following the Nets when Joe Harris signed and remember the halcyon days of D'Angelo Russell just so I can turn around and ask them to name four Lakers players not named LeBron, to which they can't. I've started watching highlights of the London Lions and signed up for ticket notifications, and I am seriously considering buying this t-shirt.
Fell in love with the sport. Cheers for the encouragement.

true fandom is when you rage at the bs that permeates in 2k and when you try to cope that your team's 1st round draft selection can't dribble

10 minute quarters. Numerous players under 6ft4. Great team names.

By DY_nasty Go To PostThis is exactly why I'm not buying into the Jokic should be shooting more FTs things. He clearly pushed off to create his shooting space and then whines about a no call? GTFO with that. The guy is super talented and smart, but he pushes off or elbows on every single play.

Um that's the part of the clothing line for this year's Knicks city edition jerseys...

Just the way they are officiated
jokic should prob get a few more fts but the clowns saying he should get there as much as embiid who's magnitudes more physical lmao
By Not Go To PostGoddamn there's a British Basketball LeagueYes. It is known to be pretty dang bad. Like, probably the least skilled pro-league on the continent.
But it's still organized basketball and that's always fun.

N8, glad you have become a fan of the sport! When you start playing with people, just know that it is ok to feel like you are dying after just a couple minutes. Basketball fitness is different.

At press time, Green advised WNBA players to sign a long-term contract before forgetting how to shoot entirely.
Goddamn
By diehard Go To PostKD is still stupid goodAfter the bubble and now this I am over it. Which is ironic cause I feel the field is more wide open than ever but that's because to injuries to AD/Lebron, Durant, Embiid, etc and nothing to do with quality of play.
this season is actually pretty terrible and the playoffs will be too
