That is with DLSS set to balanced, so the internal resolution is 1484x835 I believe. But from testing, the DLSS image on Quality and Balanced are both sharper than if you turn it off, so it won't be that
I went the opposite direction, turned up most settings that I could, left DLSS at auto. Settled for a 30-50FPS experience.
Honestly, it feels fine with a pad. I’ve got g sync on but v sync off, zero screen tearing and feels a lot smoother this way than with v sync or with a straight 30FPS cap.

when i look at the smaller version on this page, it looks a bit washed out.
and when i access the full picture in a new tab, on flickr's site, it looks blurrier.

Nothing on this website is going to display at full size - or at least I wouldn't expect any screenshots of games to display at full size. But on flickr this would be an issue with how you're viewing the image I think, as image will look blurrier if you're zooming in above 100%. The resolution of the image you posted is 2880x1638 (i.e. above 2560x1440) and it's zoomed in so the effect is compounded

A lot of the difference between the presets is down to contact shadows and local shadows. Whatever you do, don't turn them off if you can avoid it:
I’ve been driving around a lot since I hit act 2. Keeping stopping at crimes to pull the katana out on some fools though.
Also the cyberpsycho’s keep wrecking me. The first one wasn’t too bad, but the second one I came across at a cafe absolutely ruined me. Scared to go back there, fearing for my life.

Yeah after seeing all this noise about the console versions, it just solidified my decision to just wait.

the open world lacks depth with the stupid pedestrians and police, but there's plenty of it within the quests.
