By Yurtlicious Go To PostIt's not about that, usually in normal modes you can coast through the game with just the basics of combat/perks, with hard you're kinda forced to use everything at your disposal.That's the issue, I don't want to feel forced to play efficiently to be successful in a single player game like this. I want to interact with the different systems at my own discretion because they're fun to interact with, not because I need to interact with them or else struggle. All the higher difficulty settings tend to do in these types of games is encourage a min/max play style and cheesing. Like TW3, you play on Death March and you either grind it out with an in-efficient build and hate the game or you go full light attacks and alchemy then proceed to pirouette endlessly through every fight.

I know, I did that, same for New Vegas, Witcher 3 on max difficulty too, shit's wack and I ain't got time for that anymore. As above, if there's systems in the game that are fun to interact with then I'll willingly interact with them, if they're not fun then I won't bother.

Yea, hell no to starting very hard, on this game. Not on first playthrough. The game cheats, as is. What do I look like, having to constantly reload, because I angered the teleporting ass police? These motherfuckers literally spawn close to you. Call of Duty vibes, frfr. That and the bugs? Brave souls.
I'm gonna save my thoughts about this first act, until next week. This shit is frustrating af though. With more time and some editing, this would have been insane.
If one more character sends me a gendered insult, EVIL V is a go. Sick of these cyber fuckbois already. lmao

edit: I kind of want to give a warning about a side quest. So only click the spoiler if suicide is something that you can't handle. Everyone else can ignore this.
This shit caught me way the fuck off guard. I think I skipped a line of dialogue on accident, or something, but if you fail the mission, "Happy Together", the guy straight up kills himself, because of your mistake.
I could have reloaded, but just decided to let it rock. Shit was fucked up, coming out of the time skip, in the menu, and immediately witnessing the aftermath. Jesus. Definitely paying more attention to dialogue options now.

Protip, when grabbing someone, don't drag them through an open door into a room to kill them. Game teleported me 100 meters further. Kill them first then drag in to room.

GB don't seem to like it much at all, looks right up my alley though. Can't be doing with this many bugs, seems to be way too many of them to expect most of them to be fixed, but hopefully it's in much better state by the time it's out on ps5 and the console is widely available.
