By Daz Go To PostHow has covid affected your DJ'ing?I stopped playing in bars a few years ago when I had to move islands for 2 years to do a degree on Web and Mobile Development.
Since then I only play at friends parties, some football matches of a local club and a couple of weddings.
There's too few places to play and way too many DJs, the bar that had offered me residency before I left the island closed a few months after so I was back to square one.
While I miss it, it would be an hard life to go back to.
Spending hours on the web searching for remixes that fit my style and the crowd, playing from midnight until 4 or 5 in the morning wouldn't be compatible with having a job with a lot of responsibility and some stress during the week.
Fuser has been giving me an urge to go back to the controller and play around, I have a few weddings next year where I might be asked to play so we will see.
You may recognise the lead singer. He's quite famous in Britain for a Christmas song, and has lived around my way for a few years now.
While I get that football is just a silly little game and is not important at all (lol), I just think if you're going to support a club, you stick with it through the good times and bad times...
Anyway yes, Arsenal have been in decline for years at this point, but I'm always going to hope they are a competitive side again. Just takes time, and it seems some people here and on Twitter are a supporter of #impatiencefc and not Arsenal.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostNever understood how people can get miserable if their team is losing*. Itās really not a big deal š¤·š»āāļø Iād be upset in the moment for a few minutes then move on with my life.Nah mate
*unless they bet crazy amounts of moneyā¦
Whenever Everton lose, I feel shit and my weekend is distroyed. I dunno, I think once you become so attached to a club, it just becomes part of you for better or worse.
By Wahabipapangus Go To PostDidnt you support like United and Chelsea or something m8I did when I was much much younger m8 and then wasn't interested in football until a few years afterwards (can't remember why)
so yes I may have been a huge hypocrite :lol

Imagine supporting and watching Sheffield United atm. That shit will mess you up fam!

In England, clubs are more patient with their managers than pretty much all of the world.

Sporting hasn't won a league in 19 years, if Arteta was getting those kind of results here, he had been fired weeks ago.
The thing is that Arsenal needs a change desperately, do you think the board will go big on the transfer market in January or will Arteta improve?
None of those options look likely and it's easier to replace a manager than replace a squad.
I honestly still think the squad is not good enough. Yes, they are better than 15th place, but with ho condensed the schedule is and ho competitive the league is, the squad just don't have the backbone to compete at all with some of the teams, yes, even Burnley and the likes.
I can see Arteta trying to implement what he learnt under Pep in training. The diff is, Pep is working with De Bryune and Aguero whilst Arteta has Xhaka and Elneny.

Arsenals squad is good enough for top 6. That should be the bare minimum.
I have no idea what happened with Arteta, but he's finished here. We're just wasting time keeping him on the job.
We do love to waste time, wasted a couple of seasons at least with a finished Wenger. We commit too much trust on people, we need to be more ruthless. Being patient with managers is not working.

By Wahabipapangus Go To PostI do not miss WillianWillian Pepe Nketiah front three might be one the most steryl front 3 I've ever seen play for us.
Arteta really not helping himself.
Pepe can't dribble a cone to save his life.
Willian is just enjoying retirement at Arsenal, like Cech did.
What a fucking mess.

Not quite sure what to say. Disappointed.
By Wahabipapangus Go To PostYou do not have to look far for evidence of how different European and South American sport culture is compared to North American. Many fans got a deep rooted hate for their rivals for various different reasons, with history of rivalry dating back well over a 100 years, often with social, religious or political reasons. I think the lows are also to find in that, when you then have to deal with the other rivals fans wherever you work or whatever.Cheers, thanks for that. I didnāt consider the cultural differences but you may be right.
I'm not saying people don't take it too far, and that I don't get upset to a level that is just silly. But losing to BrĆøndby really does that to me.
A large part of my family still live in Serbia and Bosnia and they take the Partizan and Red Star rivalry incredibly seriously. Like, itās these peopleās entire lives at a point. Hard to know how much of that is sports filling a certain void in their lives that other aspects donāt cut it.
By Scum Go To PostHoly shit I legit watch to play some Unreal Tournament GOTY right now
I really donāt blame any fan who doesnāt want to watch us at the moment. I will watch Arsenal when I can, like last night, but fuck adjusting my sleep schedule to watch whatever you want to call our performances these days. Gonna are the days I would āt miss a single match.
Arteta has to go know because the results, performances, and stats are all very bad. Say what you want about Emery, but he was always able to get a result with his second half changes. Arteta has nothing going for him. The players might be letting him down, but then that is on him. Why are they willing to let him down? As people say about Chelsea, it is easier to change a manger than a whole team.
Allegri is just waiting to be picked up. I feel like having the chance to bring Arsenal back from death would be something he is interested in. Dude has the best CV of any coach out there available.

Damn that xG number is brutal. Championship has plenty of quality strikers yet they still employ Wellback.
