By Frustrated_me Go To PostSpeaking of work, anyone else just overwhelmed with the amount of work? They got us working like mad dogs ever since the WFH became a thing. I'm blessed to have a job of course but man this much work is insane. My workload increased because I'm leading on part of a new project, but I think my work has been very good about trying to make sure people aren't getting fucked too hard. I don't think it's stopping the overwork, but they're definitely trying
By Pennywise Go To PostHow are they handling it?
Schools here are opening windows regularly and masks are mandatory. Apart from that they haven't managed to do jackshit.
They're trying to shift the starting times around, but haven't found a proper solution yet. Not to mention that the state official who coordinates the schools in my states even denied some school the opportunity to have half the class at home and the other in school.
Until now, suddenly it's an option.
Windows open, masks on in corridors and anywhere inside not in a classroom. Students very obviously less than 2m distance from each other because we don’t have space to do anything else. We’ve had to send each year group bubble home at some point through our contact tracing - whole of Y13 are off atm, 2/3rds of Y8 back in a few days. Staggered leaving times are helping a little, but not massively.
I love being in, teaching is impossible to do from home. It’s super annoying when you have half the class in and half out though; feels like you’re teaching two lessons at once.

Not to mention those that are struggling with digital learning or those that need more attention from the start.
What pisses off is that they new exactly about some things that could help. Air filters, both changing the existing one and mobile units.
Politicians didn't bother as it went relatively well during summer and now they've gotta close so many schools/classes because they hardly prepared for it.
I wonder how the non-racist Millwall fan feel now after this weekend.
Even the statement from supporters club were downright disgusting.

yep, WFH has turned out to be a fucking curse. they've been taking full advantage of knowing we're at home 24/7 and a shaky job market.

Pogba can do everything Bruno can and arguably more - the difference is Bruno is consistent and his secret ingredient is that he leaves it all on the pitch.

pogba is a very skilled player who doesnt seem to care about winning, just like ozil, etc, etc. maybe a change of league will do wonders for him

Pogba plays every game as though Arnie is in the stands, calling out that Wijnaldum is a considerably superior player, and doing everything he can to prove Arnie right
By Daz Go To Postwhat if one popped up in your garden?Front garden, I'd have a look when taking the dog for a walk. Back garden, wouldn't go out to it.

Workload has been pretty high past two years. I usually will need to speak to 30-50 people per role/vacancy. I work around 30ish roles at a time (some skillsets will overlap) across at least 5 timezones (with 8 hour time differences in some cases each way) so although my day is say a 12 hour day, it's spread out through 24 hours. Hired a few people i know but need more normality in the world before I hire and delegate.

Can one of you explains who which teams qualify here and what they have to do? Is it top 2?
By Laboured Go To PostThis week is my last full week of work until January. Laziness here I come.

Thirty-two teams will take part in the World Cup in Qatar, of which 13 will be from Europe.
The 10 group winners in qualifying will secure their place at the tournament while the 10 group runners-up will go through to the play-offs, along with the two best Nations League group winners who do not finish in the top two of their World Cup qualifying group.
The 12 play-off teams will be drawn into three separate play-off paths, each of which will comprise semi-finals and final, with the three winners heading to Qatar.
By Daz Go To Post@farid I watched the music vid for Downfall by Kllo. Holy shit, Chloe is beautiful. She is a goddess.
Also, I like the fact that The duo are cousin, so they don't sing about cheesy love / sex songs!
The new album is Top 5 AOTY!
