It's like the easiest million seller+ strat you can pull off, and not even having that easy shovelware win ready is just bad strategy.

Does it matter? For somebody switching from Xbox to PS, they will on day one get greeted to better games than they can get on Xbox. Straight up. Be it exclusive PS5 games or generation defining games through ps+ collection.

I know there is no lack of games to play, that's the whole reason I subbed to the thing, I just feel like that new launch IP that kinda looks prettier signaling the arrival of new gen is an empty steam tray for them atm, especially noticeable now after they 86'd Halo.

The Xbox cult is so faithful to their leader, no matter the constant disappointment that was the Xbox One generation. Pivoting marketing to BC was a move that only would work on Xbox fans.

i think for many, the killzone unveiling at the time was a proper next-gen moment. it looked like a step above from anything on the ps3.
yeah as bad as that ps4 launch was, killzone did serve as a title that showed what your new box could do. like ryse/godfall, small titles no one would care about outside of launch, but they do have value. that being said, horse is right about launch being meaningless
