Demon’s Souls seems to have been affected by this but haven’t tested. Not sure how much it’ll matter since it already loads crazy fast.

For anybody who wants I can arrange a save state with all costumes unlocked. It’s a pleasure trip being able to play the entire game beginning to end with the likes of the Scarlet Spider costume, which looks bananas, or the Raimi suit that really makes you feel like Spider-Man in a way no other suit in the game does. Sometimes it borders on phot realism too. You will have to wait for the update during thanksgiving though to be able to use the save.

The jump from previous gen to Tbis gen is way more noticeable than it was from the PS3/360 to the PS4/one. The resolution increase, addition of HDR en masse, increase in FPS all are huge leaps. Even more so for me as I still had the OG PS4. Part of this is my pairing the upgraded console with an upgraded TV for sure

Loading up Astros Playroom was cool, but it didn’t hit me until I loaded up sackboy. The textures, crispness and deep color on the OLED was just gorgeous compared to LBP3. Even my wife said something and she doesn’t give a fuck.
Then I put in Demons souls. Dear lord. Wow
Seemingly audio quality has improved across all games I tried as well. The directional sound coming from my rear channel speakers was always in balance with the front channels and never got too loud. Demons souls is a great game to experience this because there’s no music. The ambient noises are all noticeable and clear and don’t overpower the front / center channel.
The controller is neat too. l hope we will get some good use out of it. The haptic feedback while walking was pretty insane. Didn’t expect it to be as Noticeable as it was

No, there’s several transitions though the wall tbat pas through several studs at once. When cutting hole in studs, you’re limited in size otherwise you’re destroying your structural wall supports. I have several HdMI cables passing through these holes and I would need to cut holes in drywall to create pull points

No issues with ps4 to ps5 Ethernet transfer. One strange hiccup: my ps5 restarted while I wasn’t looking. Figured it failed the transfer but when I went to try to transfer again it said that transfer was already in progress. From there I was able to navigate to the download area from the ps button where I could see the transfer status/percentage. Left it on that and moved the controller on occasion to prevent it from going on standby.
Transfer is done, no issues. Tried Astro—really good stuff. Kind of confused about the ps5 version upgrades. Thought I’d get a patch for borderlands 3 but it basically just let me download the ps5 version...40 gb. That’s fine... but I hope I can reclaim some space by being able to delete the ps4 version I already transferred over.
