In all of the Spiderman footage I've seen so far, there seems to be an issue with collision detection that wasn't there in the first. The way he hits the wall and then just freezes looks pretty bad. There's also a ton of weird animation awkwardness too
By Punished* Go To PostJust out of curiosity, when do you people reckon the PS5 will go back on sale in the UK? A week after launch?A few shops in Germany (a smaller one and GS) announced that they would take another wave of orders for the next shipment.
No info when it's actually coming etc.
Suppose UK will also get the opportunity for the next shipment.

Unless youre talking about a slight delay sometimes when slamming into a wall before he starts wall running, that was 100% in the first game
By sy Go To PostI havent seen this. That and a few other things in the Giant Bomb Quick Look, I don't remember it from the first, but I haven't played the first since it launched

Trying to figure out if a large external HDD for PS4 game downloads is better than buying a ~4TB SSD to store them instead.
By RATHasReturned Go To PostTrying to figure out if a large external HDD for PS4 game downloads is better than buying a ~4TB SSD to store them instead. It should be enough for now.
Will be obviously slower and everything, but rather use that money on an SSD expansion for the console itself, once they've got the list with compatible drives.
By Pennywise Go To PostIt should be enough for now.Yes, that's probably right. I shouldn't get tempted by any deals right now. I just wait a bit.

WebM? Interesting. I'm assuming they are using VP9 as they list it as more efficient than the presumed H.264 of the MP4 container.

Got Sekiro and Miles. I’ll leave Demons Souls for a later date but first I gotta swing with the dashing swagger of a young black teen and after I shall master the art of the ninja.
If that ain’t a kickass start to a gen, don’t know what is.

It's not just the technology. The boot-up sound, the UI… even the aesthetic of the console (like it or loathe it) with the lights that bounce off the white fins, looks like the outside of my local Cineworld. It feels premium.

By Eternity Go To PostWhat are the major advantages or disadvantages between WebM and MP4 in this scenario? So WebM and MP4 are just "containers", the actual codecs used will be what is important. Assuming MP4 is H264 and WebM is VP9 (they can be other codecs) then WebM will just simply be better, it will either look nicer or be a smaller files size especially at high resolutions. You might have some trouble playing it back on really old devices or something but I don't really see compatibility being a problem.
These SOC's support hardware VP9 encoding so there shouldnt really be any performance impact difference there either.
Xbox = Android fanbase. Consistently tries to convince PlayStation players that the Xbox is amazing and you can’t really get the same experience on PlayStation and Game Pass is everything.
PlayStation = iPhone fanbase. Xbox users always tell me about their platform and game pass but I literally never think about you guys, ever.

I have a question in regards to PS5 accounts.
I have been gaming on an EU account since the PS3, it is where all my trophies and purchases reside.
Seeing as the new gen is approaching I was struck by the idea that I can probably save some moolah if I purchase games on the US store going forward. This is something that was discussed a few days ago on this very board.
My question would be as to how I would go about that process?
Where do I purchase US PSN cards?
Will I still be able to use my original EU account to play games purchased on the US account?
If I manage to game share using two PS5s and I wanted to share my EU library and US library across both systems, would I run into issues?
Are there any other limitations or potential issues that I have not even thought of?
Thanks.

Where do I purchase US PSN cards? (Can't answer that)
Will I still be able to use my original EU account to play games purchased on the US account? (Yes, if the PS5 account system is the same from PS4)
If I manage to game share using two PS5s and I wanted to share my EU library and US library across both systems, would I run into issues? (If you want to keep playing with your EU account, you would have to put it primary on your partners PS5 so he/she can still use his main account for gaming and you, while online, will still be able to play with your EU on your PS5. You could only share another account if you did the exact opposite with your friends account, i.e., putting his/her account as primary on yours and he/she would have to play using this account. This is all for PS4, if PS5 works the same, this will still work.)
Are there any other limitations or potential issues that I have not even thought of? (the limitation is for the guy without primary PS4 activation would only play those games being connected to the internet, and only his main account would have access to the content shared. Sharing PS Plus would only give cloud saving for the one that plays with the account subscribed)
Thanks.
Some other potential issues you might have by going full main US store on a EU account is that you won't be able to make business inside some games, like for example, if you play Rocket League and want to buy credits for you main playing EU account, you'd HAVE to buy it on this account. I think FIFA is the same also, if you want to buy FIFA points, these points would only work for the account you paid them.
I have this issue because my main account is american (created in 2008, and in that moment there wasn't a brazilian psn, so there was no way to download content without access to a psn store, so now if I want to buy inside stuff on these games, I'm locked to my american account, and the dollar is fucking expensive as fuck. I also lose out on backing up my saves on the cloud, cause my plus is on a brazilian account which is much more cheaper to do it on the br store).
I really really want to change region on my main for a long long time.
Another thing that might become a problem is, american version of the games usually only have english, french and latam spanish as languages to choose. I don't know where you're from, but if that's a problem, you have to considere it.
