that is some ugly ass draw distance in assassins creed. the contrast is pretty huge when right next to spiderman as well, that clearly also lowers a lot in details, but still manages to look pretty decent in the distance.

DMC is brilliant, it's cheap and you could coast through it casually without learning the ins and outs of the combat really

I found that a big bump in getting over the souls games difficulty hump was just getting used to the style. I heard Sekiro is different, but prior to Sekiro bloodborne was the big shift away due to a lack of shield.
Souls is slower. You’re not gonna open souls up and see three pages of combo variations. You’re a glass cannon in even heavy armor. It’s more dodging / blocking and finding moments to attack.
