I agree that all this situation is a mess, but at least from my pov, Ozil was finished as a premier league tier player a bit after he signed the extension. He simply does not care anymore. The way he left the pitch on the Europra League final was the final nail on the coffin for me.
The relationship between himself and the club is a mess, and I agree with you that he was badly treated, having said that, he's simply a washed up player for this level.
And I believe most people that say he can't play for us means that only by footballing reasons, at least that's what I do.
