VAR and the handball rules are a bit cack.
I won't lie though - I enjoy the pearl clutching from pundits to a certain extent.

Literally rolled it wide of the post.
I’m going to say Jayzeus meant it based on the speed at which he reacted and how he turned. Maybe came off a bit better than he expected
I hate that everybody seems a minute ahead of me with their streams. I should be getting 14.95 for watching these shitty pirate streams
That was way more a pen than the Leicester one too, way more distance, Gomez jumps higher, brings his arm in line with the ball.
Still, not a fan of these rules

Maybe came off a bit better than he expectedimo he didnt mean it at the moment De Bruyne passed to him, but by the speed he turned I'd say he kinda realized pretty quickly that the ball would go towards the net before his touch.

Poor pass from Jota to Salah there, killed the chance. Too much passing around too, Salah should just shoot more.
Good game so far. We should be behind, yet I feel we’ve had the better attacking play overall. I don’t think Jota is a winger, but his presence is helping Salah and Firmino open up space.
Hopefully we can withstand their barrage at the start of the second half. I haven’t seen Liverpool not look significantly better after HT in years. And for some reason we usually SUCK right after it. Pep’s HT talks must be horrible.
Walker was definitely a penalty. Gomez was a pen by letter of the law but stupid law.
Think when Liverpool have Fabinho and Thiago there instead of Hendo/Wij this system could be really productive for them.

Liverpool clearly the superior team, but City having a slice of luck to stay in the game. even then they couldn't take the chance to move ahead.
Even if Liverpool continue to be better, game could go anywhere with how open it is

Also I think Jesus intended his touch. Maybe he didn’t expect it to go so well, but his body shape and the speed at which he reacts wouldn’t really be possible if it were pure accident.
By Xpike Go To Postive sometimes been watching a game on cable and am still behind some people here, so idk reallyTime to have a word with Fergie.

Our lack of a midfield controller is inhibiting our ability to play through the middle. Thiago instead of Winjaldum or Hendo would open up more opportunities
It’s worked relatively okay so far though, just going through Mane and Salah

i mean it's not like he was falling, jumping or anything, in which case I understand that people think it's silly that a handball is automatically a pen. he just had his arms this far out, when a cross was coming
I don't think Jesus meant the touch quite like that since it kinda dribbled away from him, but the reaction time to it was great. Our organisation was poor either way, if he takes a standard touch he's still in miles of space in the box and central to goal.
Defenders need to learn that side on defending isn't viable anymore when you know the cross is coming, way too easy to try and get out the way of a cross and leave your arm in the path of the ball

A slice of luck to stay in the game? 😂 Liverpool get a penalty after they shouldn’t even have been on attack. Cmon son.

Gomez handball was obviously a penalty based on how they’re being called these days, but there wasn’t much more he could do, he was already pulling his arm back and it just wasn’t fast enough. Can’t blame him, don’t like the rule, but as it is, also can’t be surprised about the decision.
By Hitch Go To Postdoimeierdoisohois you mean. Delusional. Liverpool have looked more dangerous in moments but to act like City are “lucky” to be in the game is absurd.

One that does that everytime is Gabriel from Arsenal. Tierney as well. On todays game, you simply have to do it.
