Someone else paid to know about football who doesn’t know about football
We're so shit, but this Southampton team is really good. Going places for sure, deserve huge credit for not being reactionary when they lost 0-9.
By Laboured Go To PostHasenhuttl has to be up there as one of the best in the league.
Bit the bullet and started a Sopranos rewatch. First thought is everyone looks so young.
Also, I forgot the pilot has Tony narrating over it. Big shift from what the series eventually turns into. Building blocks are there though. Marriage troubles, familial woes etc. Also, now I'm a bit older I can see how insecure Tony is as a person. Never twigged that the first time.around.

But we won't.

But I first watched Sopranos when I was 16. There's a metric tonne of things in the show that I didn't have the maturity to notice the first time around.
Tony's mother is a big thing this time around for me now. First time I watched it I thought she was a raging bitch. On rewatch she's definitely still a bitch, but now I see how manipulative and psychologically abusive she is as well.
There's also a cameo appearance by Bodie from The Wire in the second episode!
never seen all of the wire either actually. I got to the end of season 1 streaming and started watching something else at the time
That’s a show I feel like I’ve already seen though with just how ingrained it is in internet culture with the memes and references

Christopher and Bobby are doing a pretty cool podcast, where they go through every single episode of Sopranos, often with guests (both writers and actors). It's sad hearing so many involved saying they just cant watch it anymore, after Gandolfini died. Big F for you T
anyone with a soul patch is 100% a rapist, and should go to crazy town covers on tiktok instead of whatever they are doing right now. that much is known.
