This is fucking dreadful. Playing wide to fullbacks who don't attack. Passing back inside where all our main threats are. No space so they pass back to the non-attacking full backs. And repeat
Completely disjointed, no flow, no connection, each player for himself, big holes with no one looking to run into space.
TRASH

Cavani's been on for 20 minutes and the only time he's touched the ball is when he dropped back to our half to defend.

Someone else than Inky answer pls.
I still can't understand how United won Vs PSG. Should have sacked Tuchel for that offense right away.
I mean Ole isn't a great coach and all, but the players look they this is their first time playing a football match of this level, completely clueless
Team got worse with all the subs. We took off all the players who could play one touch football around the box and as a consequence we lost our ability to open them up.
Solksjaer's tactics and subs were a failure and he needs to go. We literally played 30 minutes with Pogba and Cavani on the pitch and failed to create one chance. The only attacking outlet we had in that half hour was a ball out wide to Shaw with the hope that he could sling in a cross.

By WJD Go To PostYeah get rid of him tbhProblem is it's gone rotten under every manager. It's ultimately a failure in choosing the proper coach and also in refreshing the squad. All at the feet of the Glazer's.

Won't be long till Poch arrives. (Hopefully soon).
Still not really sure how Ole is planning for this team to play and thats after 100 games.
Whoever comes in needs to take a long look at our right side and the defence.

We played a system that required a RW and a #10 for a full year under Ole without having players in either position. We are still playing overlapping fullbacks when we don't have any who can attack (at least healthy ones atm). We still obviously don't have a RW, a position we've lacked a first team player in for 7 years+.
We play fast buildup predicated on medium, quick passes, when our passing core is tragic and can't link up. We play out the back when the quality on the ball from our back 4 and keeper is poor. And Ole keeps cuddling players like Pogba after months of bad performances because he makes a hollywood pass every other month against teams that attack and play a high line against us.
Ole is not the problem, the next manager will be the same, but he fumbles to get a solution and it's a patsy for the real problem which is impossible to get rid of. Everyone's responsible for this shit, no one in there is a victim.
Ole isn't getting sacked until it becomes clear top 4 isn't happening. Like, March or April. He doesn't cause issues like Mourinho. He doesn't have people complaining behind his back like van Gaal. He's a yes man who won't kick up a fuss.
A lot of silly mistakes have compunded to cost him his job.
That right handside was not addressed and can't blame him for that.
The great shame is he's always on the margins - always a handful of defeats from the sack.
To those clamouring for Poch - so long as our board has no ambition. Things wont change much.

By Veckrot Go To PostFrenkie center-back 👀Meanwhile, at Koeman's Barca….
Paratici was asked if after Morata struggled elsewhere and returned, the same could be said of Manchester United midfielder Pogba?
“As for Pogba, right now he is a Manchester United player and it is far too early to think about future transfer targets. We all care for Pogba here, one of many ex-players who gave Juve so much, but it’s too early to talk about future objectives.
