5 Things to Know About Floyd Mayweather
1. He’s undefeated as a professional with a record of 47-0, 26 KOs, with his last loss coming via controversial decision in the semifinal round of the 1996 Olympics.
2. He has been widely considered the number-one "pound-for-pound" boxer in the world for the majority of the past 10 years. Boxers only face opponents in similar weight classes, so the pound-for-pound list is a subjective measure of how good a boxer truly is, regardless of size.
3. His style is that of a defense-first technician, combining a brilliant boxing mind with exceptional hand speed to outbox most opponents, typically over the full 12 rounds (instead of ending things early with a knockout).
4. He has held titles at 130, 135, 140, 147, and 154 pounds, including lineal championships in all of those weight classes except 140 – that means he beat the man who beat the man, as opposed to merely holding one of the many belts distributed by boxing's handful of sanctioning bodies.
5. He has perfected a materialistic “Money” Mayweather persona that may or may not accurately reflect his real personality but has definitely enhanced his box office.
5 Things to Know About Manny Pacquiao
1. He boasts a professional record of 57-5-2 with 38 KOs, forged against a higher overall level of competition than any fighter of his generation can boast.
2. He was briefly considered the number-one pound-for-pound boxer in the world, thanks in part to a brief Mayweather retirement from 2008-2009, and is currently ranked number two on most lists.
3. He has updated his fighting style a couple of times under the guidance of trainer Freddie Roach, and the one-time explosive, reckless southpaw puncher is now more of an explosive, careful southpaw boxer-puncher after suffering a stunning knockout loss in his fourth fight against Juan Manuel Marquez.
4. He has held titles at 112, 122, 126, 130, 135, 140, 147, and 154 pounds, including lineal championships at 112, 126, 130, and 140.
5. He is the most beloved Filipino athlete of all-time and is even an elected congressman in his homeland, but he has also won over global audiences with his ready smile, humble charm, and ability to create thrilling in-ring action.

I recommend watching this HBO promo material about the story of the fight.
VAMOS PAC MAN!
I actually have Mayweather by knockout in the 7th. Pac's not getting through that defense without getting desperate and Mayweather is gonna serve him up something serious.
Great OP Prinny.
I don't know who to support here. Mayweather seems a cunt to me so i'll probably support Pacquiao

That homophobe can go have sex with himself. Mayweather has said some disgusting stuff too, yea, they're both assholes.

I won't actually be able to watch this live, because I'll be working but I'll try and stay unspoiled on the result and watch it after. Hoping for a Pacquiao win, his camp are making a big deal of him having more speed than Floyd and he's really going to have to show it. Difficult to see a knock out coming from either side.

By Forever Go To PostWill I be able to stream this anywhere?
I think with Yomvi ( The Canal plus streaming service ). For the fight you don't have to be a Canal + subscriptor to watch the fight and I think it could work with and VPN / VPN Service or Hola Unblocker. I'm not sure about it so I'll be cool if anyone could try it: http://yomvi.plus.es/
The price of the fight is 12€ but I think YOMVI has free content to try it and see if it works before purchasing the ppv ticket.

First 2-3 rounds will be close. Pacquiao will get off a few times.
Mayweather will win every round after that, possibly losing one or two near the end.

The morality shit thats come up because of Floyd specifically for this fight is moronic.
If you dig deep enough every sporting event should be un-watchable. The Super Bowl, World Cup, World Series etc. They all have some sort of very dark history related with their sport or specifically that event.
Floyd majority decision btw. It's going the distance.

I don't think it will be too hard for Floyd. Maybe the first few rounds will be tight but after that the class of Floyd will just be too much. This is Floyd's legacy fight and I feel it might even go for a knockout.
A guy that has been knocked out by fighters that go defensive to beat him
vs
THE BEST DEFENSIVE FIGHTER OF HIS GENERATION....

I'm not even watching this shit. I'm watching Song of the Sea with my son. I haven't seen him in almost two months.
I disagree when people categorize Mayweather as a defensive god/fighter. Yes his D is straight ridiculous, but IMO the definition of boxing is what Mayweather does every. damn. fight. Defense, counter punch, jab, set-up, combo. It's all thought out 4 steps before the opponent and its almost always accurate or close to it.
By FootballFan Go To PostRonda rousey would beat them both m8sI remember that shit thread lol. People are insane.
By Diprosalic Go To Posti put $200 on the asian one. hopefully makes this more interesting to watch.Better off just donating to charity.
