I do think it's not just the situation in the league or failed Europa qual. It's the way he has pissed away money also having full responsibility over transfers. He failed to get either Oviedo or Varela away, meaning we now got 6 (!!!) fullbacks, where only 2 maybe 3 of them are even close to the standard needed.

I also don’t think they should get rid of the league cup. Just exclude teams in European competition - or at least the CL. Or even make it invitational to those clubs and if they decline then lucky dip for National League sides.
Yeah the special status rule is a joke. Especially because a club whose ownership changes hands is practically an entirely new business.
Definitely support dumping the league cup, it's just a pointless competition. Removing europe teams from it just means that the one advantage the rest have, of having fewer games, goes away.
