By Pennywise Go To PostI'm not. It's been obvious for a while how overly emotional & bitter you've been about this transfer. Yet another player from a very long list who doesn't want to play for Dortmund anymore & he wants to move on to bigger & better things. Wether you like it or not Manchester United are his first choice & even in United's 'bad years' they've still won 4 trophies over the past 5 seasons. With all these players that leave Dortmund because they're just a feeder club i would have thought you'd have got used to it by now.
Gonna be happy when he goes to a club that fits his quality, which isn't Manchester United.
Imagine being a club that still lives off the glory of the past, still thinking you mean jackshit in the world of footy when you end up with old man Cavani. Handling transfer business like amateurs, while paying off your sugardaddy.
With the most obnoxious fanbase online and braindead fans like you.
He's gonna be fine. He will enjoy CL footy past winter instead of EL.
By Pennywise Go To PostYes.Great news! Thanks for the update. I saw they had started really well this season, but can never really tell
They usually play with 3 CBs at the back, so 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1 and similar tactics. Therefore they really need a good LWB.
Robert Skov (you can hear Wooden jerking whenever the name gets mentioned) is the LW usually, but had to play LWB a few times since their normal LWB is currently injured.
He should also get past that LB and get enough time on the pitch.
I haven't really watched them this season and they've got a new coach. Overall it still looks like they're following the same formation.
Should be a good fit and he should get enough time on the pitch unless he gets injured or isn't delievering.
By Pennywise Go To PostYeah not gonna engage with the black hole of shit anymore. Back to ignore. You already did m8, he won.
By Nonja Go To PostYou already did m8, he won.Who won, Froggie? Got him on ignore so I wouldn't know.
By JesalR Go To PostGreat news! Thanks for the update. I saw they had started really well this season, but can never really tellWhen Nagelsmann left them, they struggled a bit.
Got a coach that supposedly had different view regarding the future and therefore they parted ways before the end of the season.
They took a gamble this season and installed Sebastian Hoeneß (nephew of the former Bayern president), who mainly had experience as youth coach and their reserves. He did a pretty good job there, but 3rd league > 1st league is still a major step.
So far they had a good start. We'll see how long it last, but I can see them reaching the EL spots. Neverkusen is highly questionable after the departures of Havertz and Volland. So they got a chance to reach 5th or so.
By Nonja Go To PostYou already did m8, he won.Well, he just won a great deadline day as prize.
Shame you'll have to share it with him.
By Cleff Go To PostNobody mentions Pellistri. Makes you wonder what's going on there.
Probably more that it's not perceived as a first team signing.
It never ceases to amaze me how much people like to talk shit but when they get told the facts in response they have a breakdown because they can't handle the truth.
Peace and love everybody it's just football.

As much as Sancho is an important signing for United, buying a world class CB & DM is even more important & nether of those positions have been addressed.
At least with Cavani he can still be quality. Shit transfer season again. I'm glad I didn't keep up with it this time around.
Ended like how you'd expect.
Ended like how you'd expect.
I think Sancho is more important and more attainable and more realistic than a world class CB and DM because he is young, British, already doing great numbers, at a selling club and wants to come. Simple as that Who are these hypothetical CBs/DMs? Koulibaly who would cost the same amount almost when he’s years older? Upamecano who everyone and their mum will be in for?
By Laboured Go To PostTbf to Andy Mitten, he's reported on the moves for Pellistri and Traore before anyone else. One of the few reporters United fans should be looking at for reliable transfer news
By Laboured Go To PostSancho is back on bb
Partey is available at €50m.
Upamecano would most likely be sold if we offered to pay his release clause amiunt (or even more if we are that desperate).
The fact that the club has had to go to the last day of the window to get deals done shows how shit we are run.
Glazers won't be impacted, but pressure surely has to mount even more of Woodward. Club is in desperate need to employ people who know football at the higher levels. Same shit yet again in another window after we secure CL football.
Feel for Ole and unless these signings have the same uplifting influence on the team that Bruno had, he'll be gone by Christmas.
Hopefully this Pellistiri lad can come in and suprise us.

Good article - even if I disagree with some of it. Pochettino would not fix this club, much as I want him.

As for DM's United could have tried to have got Ndidi, Rice, Partey or Zakaria. Then there's Konaté who can play as either a CB or DM.

Upamecano is going to Bayern. Dias does not really have glowing reports coming out of Benfica and Pep’s CB record is spotty. Boly shines in a completely different system to ours and is no better an individual defender than what we have. Ndidi and Rice would be costing Maguire money, and Partey is a limited player.
Sancho is a generational talent far beyond anyone named there who would improve the first team side massively and allow us to have an actual gamechanger in Greenwood on our bench, and theoretically play for us for the next ten years. I think it was an absolute no brainer of a signing even at the quoted price and should have been our number one priority.
By Wahabipapangus Go To PostIs that a premface loading I see? Mashallah
I'm actually curious to see how Cavani will play at United, something tells me he's gonna be great there. Feel like United can use some of the grit and experience he offers.

With our frailties in defence I wonder would we be tempted to go with three CB's and two wing backs now. Signing Telles allows us to do that now.
By Cleff Go To PostStill not a great side.
De Gea
AWB
Maguire
???
Telles
Matic
Bruno
VDB
Greenwood
Rashford
Martial
Thinking VdB starts over Pogba lol. Bloke is Ole’s golden child.
He’ll go back to Juve next year for 50m and only then will VdB start regularly.

Wouldn’t mind seeing this.
De Gea/Hendo; Bailly/Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; AWB, Bruno, Matic, Pogba, Telles; Martial, Rashford
By Frustrated_me Go To PostWhen is Bale expected to start for Spurs? And can we have Son?He should be back after the international break, hasn't gone away with Wales, so will hopefully have recovered.
And no, you cannot have Son
Arsenal twitter has gone into full muppet mode they think we're going to pay Partey's release clause in full despite not having no money to spend lol.
By JesalR Go To PostHe should be back after the international break, hasn't gone away with Wales, so will hopefully have recovered. He was posting pics and videos prior to his transfer, he looked to be in really good shape working out during the summer break. He'll need time to get back into it for sure, going to be fun to see Mou try to integrate him in.

Of course a well run club would have all of the above sorted.
