By Cleff Go To PostYeahWon't be long till this happens.
By WJD Go To PostUtterly embarrassingPeople are gonna blame fitness and lack of rest when Spurs have had a much more demanding calendar so far.
You can’t blame this on transfer ineptitude either. There’s something fundamentally rotten here.
Shit excuse. The manager is very limited tactically and we've looked woefully unprepared for these games.
By WJD Go To PostUtterly embarrassingPersonally I think a lot of it is down to the transfer situation. The team was rejuvenated when football resumed last June. Played some great attacking football and lost just once. The side started struggling as they were clearly overplayed but that was ok because we'd get more guys in over the summer.

Our lack of transfers in has been the owners way of saying they've no interest in seeing us win trophies. The players aren't unaware of that. Couple that with Olé not being a particularly good coach either and you've problems. But I've never thought the players weren't playing for Solksjaer, unlike near the end with Mourinho when they clearly wanted him gone.
By Doicare Go To PostAs i said during and after the game United were fucked over by no pre-season thanks to having to play late in Europe because of Corona. Pretty much every team that had to play in August has had a poor start because of it.As I said then, you thought you outplayed Palace who also had a preseason so you can’t use it as an excuse.

Tottenham had a lot of courage, honesty and family this half
what a performance

False King
Was a joke. Don’t even think Ciro touched him.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostAs I said then, you thought you outplayed Palace who also had a preseason so you can’t use it as an excuse.I said that United struggled in both the Palace & Brighton games because they didn't have a pre-season and weren't fit where as Palace & Brighton did have pre-seasons and were fit.

It's a stitch up Yurt, that footage is doctored. Wooden didn't post the deagle ace (ok...4k but I was about to kill the last guy) I got the other day I see.
By Vini.lad Go To PostI think Martials action was a bit worseMartial’s action was definitely worse, which is why he got red carded. I don’t know how Lamela doesn’t get a yellow or sending off though. Players shove each other all the time with the backs of their arms, but if you catch one in the face it’s at least a yellow? There must be some print in the rules that stipulates this?
maybe an yellow for Lamela and Dark yellow for Martial
I’m not sure. But losing Martial, who does nothing for you in your own half, doesn’t excuse the 4 goals–especially not the two before the sending off
By Punished* Go To PostBtw, I'm disappointed to miss this half because I've been playing DND 👸😎
Fun times. Share the horror stories with us if it ever goes sour. RPG horror stories are the best.
You can't give a yellow through var iirc, even a second booking. A rule made to look even sillier after an incident like that.
Not sure they can even do it for a foul that gives away a penalty.

By n8 dogg Go To PostI’d give Mengi a game tbh. Can’t be any worse than the clowns back thereGenuinely wouldn't mind dropping Maguire. Has been poor since the start of the season. Lack of pace will constantly stop this team trying to play a higher press.
Regardless of Ole and his nonexistent coaching. Individual mistakes didn't give the team a chance today.
What a time for Maguire to wake up and play like a double agent. Don't even have to mention VAR they've failed many teams and they're untouchable. It's like screaming into a void.

By domino Go To PostYeah I don’t think I’ll be watching many more of our games this year
Bailly is a fucking disaster. His luck is the alternative is Lindelof, who is just Christrensen but Swedish (that's 25% IQ decrease).
Son is genuinely underrated. Such talent and work rate and we never hear of the usual suspects bidding for him, unless I missed something.
By Hitch Go To PostNo idea why people think souness is racist when he talks like that 🤔
By R436 Go To PostGet a hold of yourself, Souness. Never go Brexit on camera. What did he say?

If that’s the case, that must be why he avoided punishment.
Evra is trying to start an insurrection against the Glazer's and Souness basically using Lamela's foreignness as the main reason why he's a dickhead.

It's funny to me that Souness has one big opportunity to point out what a huge structural problem Pogba causes in this team and instead goes on a tirade about foreigners.

@yurt
Here's what they DON'T want you to see. 3 v 1 T-side, 6 seconds to go.
No problem 😎
and that's the worst play i have ever seen the other team make i think
What I am finding frustrating is the immediate reactionary Ole out stuff.
Yes, he has his massive limitations and we should probably be ruthless and go for Pochettino. I wouldn't base that on this match alone, and it's ridiculous to do so considering the red card, considering the quality of our squad (and really when people say 'ffs that squad cost 500m' my argument is that it was spent badly rather than it was spent at all), but yes he is probably not good enough.
But he's been hung out to dry by the club. Guy gets us third and three semi-finals and is very obviously of the opinion we need a LB, a striker and a winger, just like we all are, and the club hasn't delivered. Simple as that. I think a large part of it IS transfer business, because as Clegg says the players see the club not giving a fuck about improving the squad. Guy will have gone into a meeting day after last season finished and said 'I want Sancho, I want this player, I want that player', and the transfer window closes tomorrow and only now are we moving.
It's just not good enough on a club level. It doesn't matter whether it's Ole in charge or not, and it'll be unfortunate he gets the brunt of the blame (along with Maguire who is playing shit and probably has his nightmare summer to account in part) when the largest part goes to the board for not providing their manager with the tools he thinks he needs.
Spurs have got two new players in their starting line up today, two players who improve their side. We have none because the signing we have made is there to replace Pogba instead of improve him.

By Cleff Go To PostYeahfor what. they'll sell him up the river the same way they did Ole, Jose and LVG
By Laboured Go To PostVan De Beek does not look pleased. He should be tbf. Probably been our brightest player this season along with Mata and Rashford, but he can't get a start despite our midfield playing like drains.
