City always seem to buy a player or two we played against in the CL the season before so maybe Luis Diaz will be someone we look at next summer. Poor defending by our guys on his goal but he did a great job just the same.

It's a foul either way, which is why I asked if I was missing something, e.g. if VAR can't rule on the preceding foul and can only check the pen?

It is possible the VAR felt like it wasn't an obvious error by the ref to not award a foul there since it was an incidental action and so they just checked the later foul by Pepe. Hard to say. I think they were a little unlucky with the decision. In real time I thought Aguero may have handled it prior to Gundogan getting the ball.
I just wanted to point out that the still image of the incident makes it look more egregious than what happened in reality.

They're growing it in Arizona and then shipping it via refrigerated trucks to Austin for installation. Each roll of grass weighs 1 ton.
