Kick It Out has revealed it received “shocking” increases in reports of racist and homophobic abuse in professional football last season – despite hundreds of matches being played behind closed doors or postponed because of the pandemic.
There were 446 incidences of abuse reported during 2019-20 – a 42% increase on the previous season. Reports detailing racist abuse went up by 53% from 184 to 282, and Kick It Out received 117 reports of abuse based on sexual orientation compared with 60 last season – a rise of 95%.

If you are in any way impressed by this, you are a mark.
Ajax are just embarrassing at times.
Sounds like Messi is staying.
Not sure about getting another LB, unless it means we move Dalot on and have Williams play as RB back up.
Dont think we'll go for a CB when Ole seems to rate Axel. Hopefully he can have an injury free season so we can see him play in the 1st team.

By Willkiller Go To PostAjax have always struck me as the most 'small time' big clubI dunno that a recognition that they are in fact small reflects that badly on them; better than some of the clubs living on past glories from 50 years ago, and certainly better than the oil bunch (though I will accept the argument that City and PSG are not big time at all, so they can't be compared)

Seen a lot of people rave about him but I wasn't super impressed.

Small time, not small. They seem to relish in selling oof their best players to give them some cringey social media send off. I'm half surprised they didn't start celebrating with Spurs when Moura scored that winner because it was such a great narrative to be a part of.

Their fans were too busy looking at flights to Madrid innit lino

Ajax truly caring about their players is a refreshing mindset compared to big time EPL cashing out the second a player has a dip in form.

How anyone can still be voting Tory is beyond me....oh, yeah, tax breaks for the wealthy.
I imagine a lot of these sort of people like Jeff just decided they were tired of the brexit conversation. And they will realise shortly that after Boris convinced a slim majority to shoot ourselves in both feet, they now get to look down and see what sort of job he’s done to stop the bleeding.
By Fergie Go To PostGod we missed him so much after his injury. Just an absolute killer in the box. So many difficult angles here. Jesus has his qualities, but he will never be anywhere close to Aguero. Not a long term solution. If we don't get Messi this summer, we need a new striker or to try and give Delap some game time and see if he can prove to be a good option in the future.

lad.
By Laboured Go To PostThis guy is such an idiot. Does he think it just wont be available there next season? They'll renegotiate. That figure honestly seems incredibly low to me as well ($217m a year for China?!). NBC signed a 6-year contract at over $1b in 2015 (so at least $166.66m per year and that was ages ago). I'm praying they don't lose the rights after this season.. the coverage is so good.

Man, Aguero absolutely obliterated Tottenham over the years. I didn't count but the number must be close to 20 goals already.

Schalke is working on a transfer of Sead Kolasinac from Arsenal FC. But now a financially strong Bundesliga competitor is interfering. Bayer Leverkusen should even be ready to pay a transfer fee of 15 million euros for Sead Kolasinac to Arsenal FC. - ruhr24.de
