Read a piece about how Solksjaer is similar to Mourinho when it comes to attacking set up. Gives a general shape to the side but wants his attackers to go out and express themselves and play off the cuff football. It worked for Solksjaer because the players don't hate his guts like they did Mourinho. But you're relying so much on the qualities of individuals, and when they aren't performing to their best your attack falls apart very quickly.
James isn't a player that can take on a set defence and TFM just isn't that good in general. So we've two poor players stinking up the right hand side and no real attacking tactics to pick the opposition apart. Then on the left you've Rashford who always cuts inside and Shaw who is a poor crosser. So attacks from the left breakdown when Rashford struggles. Which is what's happening today.
