NBA took one night off and now the NFL has absolutely squashed the kneeing. Only one player for the Chiefs took a knee. The Houston Texans just stayed in the tunnel because they apparently don't want to be involved at all and literally have Texas in their name.
Michael Manuello (Giroud's agent): "At the moment there are no contacts with Juventus."
meanwhile Suarez will take the Italian language exam on Thursday 17 September. It's crucial that he passes as all our non-EU spots have been taken up

No thanks
Looks like Chillwell is injured and Thiago Silva has had to quarantine so we are going to start the season with the same defence/goalkeeper situation as last season
By Laboured Go To Postm8 it's BrightonThe last time they played at Brighton, they drew.
It'd be nice without the Adidas stripes above the shoulders.
How can they make the most cummy trainers but be so bad with football kits??

he seems to do that at the start of every season.
By Laboured Go To PostI feel like this is the fella who's scored like 700 goals or some ridiculous number with the academy (obviously at younger age groups). Honestly not heard of the other kid linked with Dortmund on the previous pages.
Speaking of Dortmund, I missed that they loaned Reinier. From some quick googling, it doesn't seem like there is a purchase option so it seems sort of baffling for them to develop him for Madrid. It is kind of the antithesis of their recent model.

Yeah he scored 600 goals at academy level. He used to be at United (he's a United fan) before going to City's academy. We have virtually no strikers available now at youth level which is why we've done this.

Mou is the best.
Thiago is back in training, just two days after being reported that he was on an extra vacation week.

By Kidjr Go To PostHow so?While other clubs are moving to "coaches", Arteta being given the reins to be a full blown manager shows the amount of trust and power they are willing to give him. I'd say it's pretty significant.

It's significant, but there's a risk.

I feel like this has slipped under the radar and is pretty big news.
By domino Go To PostIs Ole the manager or the coach?manager means they're directly involved in the transfer process, Ole may want targets but its all up to woodward
I didn't realize they were different things now.
By domino Go To PostIs Ole the manager or the coach? The split happened the last few seasons, IIRC. All of ours since Mourinho are only just "coaches", and not managers. The traditional role of a manager has now been split up into DoF and various other technical director roles.
I didn't realize they were different things now.
