Of their mids in that role, I always thought he looked more promising than Guendouzi on the ball and more consistent than Xhaka.

I think Torreira got injured at one stage and couldn't really get back into the team with Xhaka and Cellabos doing so well after lockdown. Shame as I really liked him. But Partey or Aouar will definitely be a good enough upgrade.

Think Torreira is a great CDM but Xhaka and Ceballos offer just a bit more offensively together and I think that's the kind of midfield that Arteta would rather have.

Could be higher, really. Kane hasn't been one of the reasons that Spurs don't win anything.
