By Killer7 Go To PostHenderson is great.
Yeah, he really is.
By Fergie Go To PostBailly our best CB.Henderson your best goalkeeper
VDB our best midfielder.
We go again.
VDB does his best work near the opposition box. Not really a CM. More like a 10 or second striker almost.

Will you play all three of them you think or too unbalanced?

By Kidjr Go To PostWill you play all three of them you think or too unbalanced?VDB would have to play off the wing. Rhink we still need a proper DM/sitter in midfield.
Could work in a diamond
By JesalR Go To PostOf course we areIt does? For Benfica's 4th choice striker?
Never stop playing bb
Vinicius on loan with a £36m buy out clause seems like decent cover, and it got the Ally Gold seal of briefing
By Fergie Go To Postoh boy
By Kidjr Go To PostWill you play all three of them you think or too unbalanced? If we wanted Donny behind the striker we'd need to push Bruno back. But that's never going to happen as he's our most creative player. Killer might be right about starting VDB in the right. But we'd lose Greenwood's goals then.
I have an unproven theory that the only way to play all three of them is to play Pogba at 10 in a possession focussed system.
By Fergie Go To PostWill be a fine replacement for Laca

4231?
By LFMartins86 Go To PostIt does? For Benfica's 4th choice striker? For the leagues tied top scorer last season? We're under no obligation to buy at that price, but if he has worked out well we can progress from there, and if not we can look at other options next season.
Backup to Kane has been a tough position to buy for, and we've spent a lot of money on duds, a loan gives us a chance to see how it goes
By Kidjr Go To Post4231?
P much.
VdB and Bruno at least have something approaching the work rate to be the deeper players where Pogba doesn't and never will.
Nice game for City -- happy for Ferran to get his first goal and Cole Palmer was impressive and seemed to slot into the senior team nicely. Never seemed out of his depth. Was slightly surprised Pep went with such a strong side but good to keep getting these guys some minutes since the lack of preseason will play a role in their fitness early on.
Biggest concern for me right now in that regard is Kyle Walker getting burned out. Hopefully Cancelo is healthy soon to help share the load. Was important to get THB out there to give Kyle a few minutes rest.

By Fergie Go To PostInteresting to see it laid out like this. Was just looking at your game on whoscored and saw he got a goal and assist and checked his profile. Kind of hard to imagine he has been at Utd for so long now -- not that I think he shouldn't still be there, I just wouldn't have guessed it was his 8th season already. I definitely couldn't have imagined he'd have been there for longer than Chelsea and Valencia combined.
Juan Mata.
Mata was mad at Chelsea. Won their player of the year twice in a row iirc.
Then Mou destroyed his career.

I mean that is just unrealistic. I really dislike Midtjylland and their owners, not so much their fans (cause there is barely any, even if the ones that are there are cringe as fuck), but it's just kind of meh. They have done well for some time now, but if Copenhagen hadnt been so fucking incompetent the last 2 to 3 years, then Copenhagen would still be ahead of them.
