Netflix should try and make a documentary series about Barcelona's upcoming season because it has the potential to be an incredible trainwreck.
I don't know how much of a win Messi staying is for Barcelona. They are going to spend a fuck ton of money on wages on a player that doesn't want to stay there and is probably going to sign for another club in 4 months.

Losing Ronaldo, neymar, bale and now Messi would absolutely destroy the league/tv deals/sponsors. Who are they going to advertise, braithwaite vs Benzema? Haha

By Lunatic Go To PostSpend 100m on a player for spite brehsNot only the 100 mil in wages but I'm sure man city or some other team are also willing to pay some sort of transfer fee, something like €100 million.
Basically spite/ego is going to make the club lose money AND waste a whole season worth of rebuilding to keep an unhappy Messi.
I've repeated myself often over the last few days about this but it truly is incredibly stupid to force Messi to stay. Truly.
By sohois Go To PostWhat about superstars like Griezmann, Coutinho, Hazard and Joao Felix? They're fine. But they're no bale, neymar, Ronaldo, Messi.
I exaggerate when I say destroyed, the league will of course be fine, but definitely doesn't have the same star power and won't be as lucrative as it was in the recent past

took me a while to get used to it, too.
put some lemon in it. it's heaven.

Good ol' plain water is the way to go. The acidity from sparkling water means you may as well be drinking sugary soda, it fucks up your teeth just the same.

this is false information.
of course, regular water will always be better for your teeth than carbonated water, but what you're saying is simply not true.

When you hear sparkling water are imagining flavoured sparkling water or something?

Guess what ludono almost exclusively drinks..
By bud Go To Postthis is false information. What isn't true? Cold sparkling water tends to have a ph of around 4.5-5, not that far off from cold Coca Cola. Sure, it's not as bad as soda but at least soda tastes good.

yikes, even worse than i remember reading.
Can't stand bubbly/seltzer water either. My wife loves the stuff but she also only drinks Diet soda. I assume there is some overlap with that in people. If you can deal with diet soda then you can deal with that weird water.

I mean nobody actually thought he was really leaving. It was one of those I'll believe it when I see it.
By Dan Go To PostI think he is too much of a professional to not go out there and give it his all. At this point though it’s a crapshoot that he’ll ever play for City. Both Aguero and Pep’s final year on their contract.. no real guarantee Messi would want to come without them. We’ll see what happens. Either way, I hope City sign a striker this window.
That’s that then. One more year. Be interesting to see his attitude on the pitch.

And club soda and carbonated mineral water (like plain San Pellegrino or Perrier) have added or naturally occurring minerals, which raise the pH to about 5, well outside the erosion zone.
this is how i've always had it.
so it's fine.
alright.
edit: how is 5 not that far off from 2.4? seems like a pretty major difference.
By bud Go To Postthis is how i've always had it.Looking more at the 3.0-4.0 one. I imagine that includes stuff like San Pellegrino, La Croix, etc. the more popular seltzer drinks.

it's also right there in the chart.
look, you seem to have a major issue with sparkling water.
that's fine, man.
at the end of the day, we're all in this thread for the same reason: we love football.

Lionel Messi to Goal: "I wasn't happy and I wanted to leave. I have not been allowed this in any way and I will STAY at the club so as not to get into a legal dispute. The management of the club led by Bartomeu is a disaster".
