Qanon Durant still a rookie, very few players can play defense right away.
Murray doing his best to keep Denver in the game.
Edit: Not sure how Clarkson didn't get a technical.

Is the TNT app trash for anyone else? Quality always fluctuates throughout the game and sometimes when I load up the app it says my connection is slow but I have gigabit internet (and it’s on a wired connection) and have no problems with any other app I use

ESPN often has the same issues. LPBB did, too, when I last used it several years ago.

To think that the Knicks could have drafted their franchise cornerstone and hometown, homegrown talent in Donovan Mitchell 3 years ago instead of going from Frank something-lina.
Could have bypassed this whole process of hoping Mitchell is unhappy with the Jazz and wants to go home.

Redrafting the top 4 in order since 2013 has to be...
2013: Giannis, Oladipo, McCollum, Gobert
2014: Embiid, Jokic, Nurkic, Wiggins
2015: KAT, Booker, Porzingis, Russell
2016: Siakam, Ingram, Murray, Simmons and then LeVert, Sabonis, Brogdon etc...
2017: Tatum, Mitchell, Fox, Adebayo?
Too recent to be sure...
2018: Luka, Trae, Ayton?, MPJ?
2019: ??????
Damn 2016 was a fucking good draft, the last draft that good was 2012, then 2011.

2018 is too recent to be honest. Give them a couple more years to burn.
JJJ is the first of a new breed of centers in the coming draft though... Centers who can and willingly take the 3 while are good defenders in the paint and laterally. JJJ is potentially scary, all these upcoming big man in these draft classes are going to be real scary.
New era type AD shit who not just can shoot the 3 but aren't afraid of it and are willing to do it.

Fucking wish the Lakers had taken Mitchell 2nd. We could have held onto more assets in the AD trade.
By Red Blaster Go To Postwiggins isn't even a lottery pick in a re-draft2014 was a shit draft. Anyone between Aaron Gordon, Smart, Randle, etc are better than Wiggins or after him. It is a toss up after Nurk.
2021 and onwards I feel like players like AD, who are better than AD, are going to be a lot more common. Skilled bigs are something else.
Even if you're an idiot who ignores Luka and HAS to take a big, Bagley over JJJ is mystifying to me. One is the quintessential modern big who can shoot and guard multiple positions, and the other is an undersized hustle guy who can't play defense. But he played for Dook and I guess that's what matters.
2018 is also potentially an amazing draft.
Luka, Trae, JJJ, Ayton, SGA, MPJ, Shamet, Mikal Bridges, Gary Trent Jr, Kuruks...

2 is too high for current Simmons. Even if you think his offensive problems are partially due to Philly fuckery I'd still take 3-5 over him.

He's a Pelican now you don't have to pretend he's a future superstar any more.
Anyway, everyone's talking about Luka for good and obvious reasons, but Rick Carlisle should probably get more credit for turning castoff NBA journeymen into an actual NBA team. He's got fucking Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr. playing winning playoff basketball.

By Branduil Go To PostHe's a Pelican now you don't have to pretend he's a future superstar any more.I gotta disagree...Rick is a GREAT coach but Tim is the perfect 3rd cog and the rest of the roster are good roleplayers. The Mavs are a well put together team.

By blackace Go To PostI gotta disagree…Rick is a GREAT coach but Tim is the perfect 3rd cog and the rest of the roster are good roleplayers. The Mavs are a well put together team.THJ was (correctly) considered an inaccurate chucker with no D and the poster boy for boneheaded Knick contracts before this year. He was the poison pill the Knicks demanded the Mavs swallow for the still-lopsided KP trade. I don't think many people expected him to suddenly become a 40% three-point shooter this year.
Trey Burke was just dropped by Philly for nothing and no one wanted him until the Mavs picked him up in the bubble.
THJ is shooting better, because he is getting better looks and doesn't have to chuck.
He is shooting like 1 percent better than his career average and his 3pt percentage is real up he was about a 35 percent shooter going into this year. Luka is a 31 percent shooter from outside and probably would be better if he could have people create for him.
It's Timmy efficiency that really improved but I still think that has as much to do with the weapons on the squad as much as it does with the coaching.
Bruke is a surprise but he is only there and playing because of Jalen Brunson being out. Brunson actually really solid
