By Xpike Go To PostHonestly City got super lucky today in their actual goals, they were so wasteful in front of goal, they are lacking a player that can shoot without trying to do 3 touches in the box
We can’t win it without Aguero. I’ve already resigned myself to it.
By Apollo Go To PostHey someone update me. Did City win?Yes
By Xpike Go To Post…does this mean Arsenal have a better midfield and defense than RM?Better coached. I still don’t understand what Zidane is trying to do with RM tbh
Am I the only one that wants to see Juve get all the best Italian talent? I remember the Berardi, Verratti dream. I remember.

Yo Penny, sounds like you'll offer Sancho a better contract if he doesn't move this summer. From €7m to €10m. Makes him the most paid > Reus no?

By Killer7 Go To PostI want them to take Smalling and all our other deadwood. It's from the beginning of the season and the right side are the wages in € a year pre-tax. There are some players that are already gone. Sancho got his wage doubled and Guerreiro signed a new contract, so I suppose he went up the ladder a bit. Haaland seems to be on 8m per year.

Thank god that Götze is out of his contract and Schürrle ended his career.
Gotze is an amazing puzzle of a football story. From wonderkid to superstar to flop to national hero to flop to comeback story to flop
Still just 28!

By inky Go To PostGotze is an amazing puzzle of a football story. From wonderkid to superstar to flop to national hero to flop to comeback story to flopHe had two major problems. First of all his transfer to Bayern was the worst thing he could have done. Pep as bald fraud wanted Neymar and not him. They didn't exactly had a position for him either with their tactics.
Still just 28!
The other one was his metabolism illness that was discovered pretty late. He had alot of smallerish injuries due that and once he got the treatment for it, he lost a bit of pace and he wasn't fast to begin with. Still think he could work decent for a midtable club as an CM or a CAM, but he's nowhere near the level he was at anymore.
Hopefully that also settles getting former players back unless they're still on the same level.
Sahin, Kagawa, Götze didn't really work out and were pretty expensive. Only Hummels was worth it.
Wish Kagawa worked out at United. Felt Fergie won have used him more the season after if he stayed on :(

Still a very good player too. Bossed the midfield today.

That took alot of time after the conservative treatment didn't work out, but that operation that followed solved the issues.

Pep buys so many players and really can replace you at any time which can hurt your career. Look at what happened to Sane. Bernardo has 800 less minutes this go around compared to last season. He is ruthless. Would rather go to a place like Liverpool where you have time to figure it out.

If you're a fan of the club I wouldn't care though. He's all about winning.
I could be wrong though. I didn't look into the numbers in regards to this topic. It's just a feeling I get.

They usually try to snatch up the majority of talented national players. It was the same thing with Götze and he was by far the biggest talent during those days.
The problem was that there was no planning involved. Götze was CAM and Bayern didn't have a system for that type of position. They had better wingers, so that position was also out of question.
Now you hire Pep and he's convinced of his system with a false 9 that is perfect for someone like Messi. However that was at Barca and not Bayern. They were lucky that Lewandowski joined them in the following year, because it would have been much harder to find a decent striker during that period. So a year later they had Lewandowski and still didn't really play with a CAM and Götze was still used as false 9 or on the wing. The downward spiral continued, he worked out more than he should have and lost pace, alongside his illness that created alot of muscular problems.
This stuff happens when there is no clear communication and vision between the departments. Shame it happened to a promising talent like that, but Bayern and Götze got themselves to blame.
God, I'm still furious that Mou was pissed that Lewandowski chose Bayern instead of Chelsea and didn't sell us KDB. We settled for Micky instead...just imagine what could have been with KDB.

By Cleff Go To PostNo idea if this guy is reliablemoderately reliable
barely won the league
lost Italian Supercup to Lazio
lost Coppa Italia Final to Napoli
out in the Round of 16 against a side that finished seventh in Ligue 1
the team still lacks an identity after over a year training with him
you can't even make an argument for him lmao
Genuinely think they’d be fools not to go for Pochettino, to be honest. They have an absolute free shot at him right now (save Tuchel being sacked). The likes of De Ligt, Bentacur, Dybala would thrive under him. He’d be a great, great hire.
Completing €120m transfers isn't easy unless you're PSG. But it would be nice to get Sancho in soon so he can train. If it even happens as all now.

Just seen that Wolves have fallen foul of UEFA’s FFP.
Amazing considering they’re part of the Hateful Eight (or is it nine?)

Didn’t get fined as much as you though because they don’t dabble in such rampant criminality.

poch is who i'd want most once pep leaves, would be great at juve
don't buy into poch's lack of trophies, he's top tier. having the ambition to chase real trophies like pl/cl rather than the fa cup isn't a bad thing

It's either Zidane, Pochetino or Simone Inzaghi for Juve now according to the rumors. Is any of them better than Allegri?
