Dude is 21, just got a bump in wages, and get to play a few more years at Leipzig, who are already doing well, before going to a bigger club that isnt Manchester United.
The social media accounts for German football clubs are weirdly confrontational. They retweeted they Upamecano contract extension from last week, presumably in response to todays stories about United's interest.
No one is getting Upamecano this summer lol. He signed the new contract so he gets a guaranteed move next season.
By Cleff Go To PostUpamecano is probably going to Bayern anyway. Just a matter of when.

Tom Hardy's narration in this Spurs show is awful, lol
Episode I pretty boring. Pochettino and Kane not the most engaging presences on camera. Give me dat Mou.

Funny at the end of episode 1 though lol

Speaking early because I've only watched one episode, but what this misses that makes STID really entertaining is the fan perspective. The best bits of that show isn't talking to Stewart fucking Donald, it's having that juxtaposed with the heart and expectations of the fans.
Can't remember if I posted this in here before or if it will be region locked, but this is very good. Jose nails it:
Ted Lasso is shockingly one of the best shows I've seen in awhile btw. Truly great.

By n8 dogg Go To PostReally?Yeah, the guy who made Scrubs and Cougar Town and some other very good sitcoms (Bill Lawrence) is one of the creators along with Sudeikis and Brendant Hunt (his assistant, Coach Beard) and you can tell that there's veterans behind it because it's so competently made. Ted's overwhelming positivity could come across as too much but they just nail it. All of the supporting characters are perfect -- I didn't really know Nick Mohammed before this but he's great on it. Juno Temple is definitely a stand-out as well. They nail the footballer personalities.. the Roy Keane captain is spot on. Honestly, it's just so good. I'm bummed they're putting them out week to week because when an episode is over I'm just sad there isn't more.
The advert makes me cringe every fucking time I see it.
Arlo White does the commentary during matches which is a nice treat for us American fans since he's the main commentator on NBC's Premier League coverage. The new episode (episode 5) was the first to actually show much in the way of in-match footage, but they did a nice job with it. They film the football at Selhurst Park. Can't recommend it enough.
By Freewheelin Go To PostNah it’s awful, not even chuckle-worthy. Watched 5 eps so far, and haven’t laughed once…
Lasso is very good, it didn't make the fact that he's American the butt of the joke, nor did it make him a Michael Scott kind of figure. It give it enough heart that it's worth watching.

Yeah, it wasn't as good - Methven was a fucking fun comedy character to watch, but it's missing the heart then.
auba renewal and gabriel have been known to be done for a week now. arsenal admin just hates us cuz he's a cunt
more worried about the fact ceballos hasn't been signed, nor do we have concrete aouar/parley links

Never seen anything Joe Rogan related. Not even a random clip. Always assumed he was like a more meathead version of Stern, and that's why people liked him. You know, like your typical crass radio interviewer that mainstream chains don't know how to recreate, whom people are in awe of because he can be crass but also have a human conversation with celebrities and stuff. LOL.
Will continue to assume it and be on my way.

I’ve seen nothing from any of the typical Napoli sources to indicate that progress has been made in the past several days. Much of the narrative has focused on how the Koulibaly situation will supposedly not be resolved until the Messi-to-City matter has been decided one way or the other.

Today's rumours are more that the player has agreed terms. But that was never the hard part lol.

Napoli will give in on Koulibaly soon I'm sure. They won't get more for him at any point going forward so it makes sense to cash in now. City put in a take it or leave it offer and I think they'll take it. If they don't, it's time to move on. DiMarzio reported an agreement was close but I don't know if he has close ties with Napoli or not.
By Laboured Go To PostYay, hope we get a decent option to buy clause in there too.
now our #1 priority should be entirely Aouar, Parley would be fine to have but we can wing it with a midfield of Dani/Xhaka/Aouar
