By Vini.lad Go To PostHas Marcelo Bielsa been confirmed for Leeds next season?
It's weird how most of you brexiters hate Leeds but I feel nothing for them since I've never seen them in the Prem but Bielsa made them incredibly likable.
What's the reason of that hatred? Cause they haven't really been successful for a long time now.
Their fans are a bit unpleasant.. a bit Millwall-lite. Sunderland / Leeds have a bit of extra needle coz of the FA Cup Final in 73 and some of the naughty things on-field that occurred a few years before it. Stuff like that sticks betweens fans of clubs for whatever reason.
But honestly it mostly comes from the way their team played in the 70s. Very successful and talented but the "dirty Leeds" tag has stuck around for half a century!
Are some of you guys disagreeing that the Manchester #7 is heavy? It definitely is
By KidA Seven Go To PostHah
By Xpike Go To Postconsidering who have used the #7 after ronaldo i dont think its that heavy of a burden anymoreI disagree, I think Manchester United fans still expect a lot from their #7 regardless of the last 5 flops
It's the heaviest of their numbers
:lol
Every single transfer in the last 18 months (bar Dan James) this has happened.
We can't keep running the same playbook lads. You've even briefed all the UK journos at the same time.

Everton, the Grêmio striker that has been linked with Everton for months now, seems to be on his way to Benfica for 22M€.
Part of the Woodward narrative so that when the deal gets done for, say, €110m next week on 11 August he can say "wow aren't I a great and tough negotiator?"
I feel like there should be significantly more shame in being a club mouthpiece disguised as a football journalist
By Pennywise Go To PostCan't wait to win the league with Sancho. Is he going to Bayern now?
fuck it lets sign Saint-Max instead and strike a brand deal w/ Gucci so he can wear the headband in-game
By inky Go To PostIs he going to Bayern now?No. Just hopeful that Thiago leaving will leave a void in their midfield.
United need to actually walk away from one of these transfers. Everyone knows the saga will run on for weeks but that United will end up close to paying 90% of the asking price.
By Laboured Go To PostDortmund probably don't need the money tho. Be more than happy to keep Sancho another year

The main issue is Hoeness's irritatingly timed comments about Dortmund being an incubating and selling club (which are completely and utterly correct). They might just play extra hardball to make a point.

By Cleff Go To PostDortmund probably don't need the money tho. Be more than happy to keep Sancho another yearIndeed. Also next year could mean Euros hype, maybe a rona vaccine and more clubs being interested. Dortmund would rather keep him for sure.

They might just play extra hardball to make a point. That's their prerogative as the selling club though. It's the reasonable stance to take. These United briefings about Dortmund ignoring the realities of the market just sounds like a whinge.
By domino Go To Postwhat in the actual fuck is the GK doing there?Think he was still trying to organize his defense and just expected a ball to get lofted into the box. Didn't even consider the concept of a quick shot like that.
These Sancho headlines are hilarious, "United think the fee is unrealistic in this time".
Well, then fuck off, mates. You want him now, it's not like we're desperate to sell lol
Imagine me going luxury shopping and telling them "oh good sir, this watch is a bit expensive in this trying time. Can you give me 20% off?"

Dortmund have to give City 15% of any fee over 8m or so too so if they want to get around 100m for him, then they're going to make Utd pay 120m basically. Take it or leave it from their perspective.
