LOL! I gotta say, as a Madrid fan this whole shit storm with Messi has been amazing.
I'll be happy for GOAT wherever he ends up
Deserves the stadium to be renamed after him, 10 statues and to leave for free

By FootbalIFan Go To PostShanks m8 watch this, I think you'll be happy 😎
Haha, not surprised.
By Eternity Go To PostThe nightmare is finally over, happy for you guys.We did pretty well the past few years or so. Won a double recently, won 4 CLs in 5 years - 3 in a row mind you, some Spanish cups, some Super cups, a few Club world cups... Etc. Just won the league this year and looking pretty well positioned going forward with a fairly balanced team. Most of this while you had MSN and then signed 3-4 100m+ players.
Thanks for the concern m8
By cRrusheR Go To PostCity can just spend another million a week on wages? They will need to offload players.A million a week? I'm sure they've already agreed a 100k per week deal. Coincidentally, Messi has been hired as the new head of football for Abu Dhabi at a salary of 100m per year

By FligureSkatingFlan Go To PostMy personal dream scenario: Messi does a Figo, and the footballing world melts. The world is not ready for the amount of agony this would cause Barca fans, would be the ultimate 2020 on brand event for them lol
Uncle Florentino should place a cheeky 20m bid.
By Cleff Go To PostMaguire picked a good day to get a 22 month suspended sentence.Messi already being a team player
By Cleff Go To PostGenuine story or another Gabriel situation?
Nah we've had a fair few ties with him this summer. He's a 19yo CB so not really analogous with Gabriel (altho I guess he's only played 20 less senior games than Gabriel).
By Cleff Go To PostGenuine story or another Gabriel situation?Bouhafsi has gotten involved so it looks like a concrete story. Gabriel situation was just another United name usage.
By cRrusheR Go To PostRealistically City would be mad to sign Messi. Any team not named PSG honestly.
I do think some teams, like City, may well find it hard to fit him and KdB into your side. You'll end up shifting focus from your best creator to Messi, which won't necessarily mean suffering because... well, it's Messi. But it will mean that City, PSG with Neymar, Liverpool with TAA will have to change the way they play to some extent. Again, I suppose you make those sacrifices when we're talking about the GOAT, but still.
I think sides like Arsenal and Milan would be the best fit for him because they are lacking that creativity. For argument's sake (not that it'll happen), if Arsenal got him and surrounded him with hard workers and runners who aren't particularly creative, which makes up pretty much their entire squad save Ozil, that would fit.
This'll all end with Bartomeu leaving and Messi signing a new contract.
?????????
Atletico Madrid might be open to swap midfielder Thomas Partey with Juventus winger Federico Bernardeschi.
might be open

I can see Messi leaving. What would be the point of staying? Barcelona needs a deep reconstruction and they don't have the money or the manager for it.
He has won everything he could at Barcelona, by staying he is risking spending his last good years on a team that will have an hard time fighting for trophies.
He has a chance of going for a new challenge on a different league and proving that he still has it.
Only thing stopping him would be the romantic notion of him being a one team man but I doubt he cares much for that.

This has to be satire, right?
think Messi and KDB on the same team would be disgusting, City would need to get the greatest defensive mid on earth if true

He's going to take one look at the pay cut he's going to have to take and then be on the phone with Koeman making sure he understands that he still won't be defending or putting in any effort on their half of the field.
By Elchele Go To PostIt's amazing how Schalke manages to offload all their shitty playersTake a look at their team. They haven't sold the entire squad yet and are actually struggling to sell anyone.
