By Xpike Go To PostLa Liga without Messi and Ronaldo will be sadUntil Mbappe and the other younglings make their way, it's inevitable.
By recon_zero Go To PostImagine Barcelona fighting in court with their franchise player and goatWeren't they fighting Neymar in court and trying sign him back in parallel?
What a time to be alive
By Xpike Go To PostLa Liga without Messi and Ronaldo will be sadYou'll have João Félix and Ansu Fati instead.

I watched for Kubo
By Willkiller Go To PostWho wasn't?To be frank I imagine a lot of non-league followers were, and casuals, but the hyperbole that the league is doomed without Messi is flawed.
I used to watch a lot of Barca games and every El Clasico. Haven't even watched a Clasico since Ronaldo left and Barca became a bit shite to watch.
By Daz Go To PostIf thats even half true - J brand can't afford that.we can.
Ronaldo is being paid more. Cut like 3 players and and a loan from Exor (again) for wages and we're gold.
By Hitch Go To PostI used to watch a lot of Barca games and every El Clasico. Haven't even watched a Clasico since Ronaldo left and Barca became a bit shite to watch.Up to Tebas to solve that issue, the production and distribution needs to get better. The league will be fine without their marquee players because newer starts will come but the league needs to do better as a whole to better compete with other leagues.
i have seen an insane amount of barca under pep. probably >90% of those games.
that is when football peaked.
the 5-0 clasico is the only game ever i've seen from start to finish more than once.

La Liga will lose a lot of steam tho.
By Frustrated_me Go To Post??? We're you guys watching La Liga for Messi and Ronaldo only?yeah, more or less, messi v ronaldo always meant the Clasicos were a must watch
By Frustrated_me Go To Post??? We're you guys watching La Liga for Messi and Ronaldo only?yep. only interesting player left is jaoaoao but he's always injured
even bundlesliga will be better than loliga if messi leaves
By recon_zero Go To PostLa Liga will lose a lot of steam tho.Yeah, a lot of fans left when Ronaldo left for Juve. Same will happen with Messi, inevitable until the newer/younger stars come in.
Barcelona actually taking Messi to court may lead to Bartolomeu being killed and paraded in the streets, it's such a dumb move
Interesting, I don't particularly watch EPL or other leagues because of 1 player per se, and I find that to be more valuable than if I tuned in for 1-2 specific players. League will need to address this, now without their best players.
By recon_zero Go To PostI watched a couple of Juve games for Ronnie but Serie A is insuferable.I tried to as well but the quality wasn't there tbh..
Bartomeu has pretty much declared war on Catalonia.
Actually wondering how the people there will react to this.

Of course that's not the case with any other league.

Only watch Chelsea matches consistently since that's what I try to shape my schedule around. No time to watch any other league or team, unfortunately.
By recon_zero Go To PostI watched a couple of Juve games for Ronnie but Serie A is insuferable. It really is the worst.
Crowd, no crowd - makes no difference.
Maybe its the climate - heat slows things down, I spose.
Never really cared about Barca-Madrid until Mourinho lmao
PL was always fun though, Henry was ridiculous with Arsenal, and Chelsea and United were fire.

It'll get better obviously, but it's pretty much impossible to see it reaching the standard of each big team containing one of the geatest players in the history of the game. I ain't gonna start watching a lot of La Liga because Mbappe goes to Madrid and Neymar to Barca, that'll just make me more likely to watch the Clasicos and carry on ignoring the rest of the matches.
Having Ronaldo and Messi at the same time was basically the entire draw of the league from a foreign perspective I reckon. Need either incredible marketing like the PL has had (with the perhaps underappreciated benefit of everything being done in English), or legit GOATs propping things up. Otherwise it's tough to see how it gets back to the 2008-2016 level.

Penne is best for me
Right shape and size to easily cook it al dente, and the hole gives it good sauce absorption. It's all good as long as there's meat though.
