By rerixo Go To Postlol chilwell was never going to cost more than 50m, and havertz has pepe vibes
werner, ziyech, and t silva are good bits of business though.
so overall I think it's fair to call that competent, at the very least just for the pace of dealmaking
What makes you think Werner is a safer signing than Havertz? Werner is most likely going to flop in a big club. Havertz is a De Bruyne type of player, he's got the Right mentality and ofc the talent.
If Sancho was signed tomorrow for £400m not a single god damn supporter would give a shit because United aren't some poverty club at risk of going under or having to layoff staff to sign players.
The people running these companies know what they can afford.
Get the players in. Get the trash out. That's all anyone should be concerned with.

YESSSSSSSSSSS!
incredible if true
IDK why or who keeps making the Fati links up. It doesn't make sense even if it was his agent trying to get a new deal.
Havertz for 100m shows the difference between an owner who likes to win and puts a sporting structure to do so, and owners who like to count coins and put a banker in charge to fill their pockets.

By Hitch Go To PostSalah at Chelsea? It was Son
edit: maybe Firmino with us
By rerixo Go To Postunited are running cheat scripts too you just gotta get rid of that woodwood malware
By Xpike Go To Postunited are more like the guy who buys cheats off a russian site that don't work and all his bank accounts get stolenNah United are the guy who was just good at the game and then earned the most money because of it, then the cheat script kiddies came along and ruined it for everybody else.
By Xpike Go To Postkolasinac thing is a loanGiven how poor they are, I'm sure Arsenal will have to take over part of the wages.
still, would help us just not having his 100pw wages around
Pulisic ------ Werner ------ Ziyech

You think Mount will start so deep? Think he and Pulisic/Ziyech rotate more than anything. Kovacic will start most games I reckon.

Kovacic as sole holder does not sound particularly sensible. Guy is a good dribbler and presser. Asking a hell of a lot defensively from that midfield three.
thought mount was pretty weak whenever he played in that sort of position, he'd be better as a pulisic backup
your best lineup is
Pulisic —— Werner —— Ziyech
—–Havertz - Kante - Kovacic—–
Chillwell - Silva - Rudiger - Azpi

although seems like frank likes 3-4-3? probably more suitable

Literally all of Mount’s best performances came in midfield, not on the wing lol. He’s a midfield player first and foremost and lacks the ability to play as a winger.
By Diego! Go To PostPersonally I see James as right back, Azpi is solid as hell but James got them sexy ass crosses

Blimey.
On Silva - the hope for me is that his experience, leadership and positional awareness will make up a lack of pace. If he can direct Zouma/Tomori, we might do a bit better in the backline.

There hasnt been much of a break since that hectic end to last season and this next one has already been shortened by a month. So every team will need to use the whole squad and players like James, Kovacic etc will get picked for plenty of games.
By Killer7 Go To Postcan we even get linked to somebody pls :(The very fact we haven't been linked with anyone else makes me think we're still trying for Sancho. But for how much longer can we dither before moving on?

By inky Go To PostWelcome back, Fellaini!
What an amazing Clásico del Astillero last night. We're down 0-1, our balls of steel winger Fidel Martínez scores a Panenka at 83' to tie it 1-1. In stoppage time Cristian Colmán, who was subbed in before the penalty, scores the 2-1 winner. Three wins in three matches since the restart, we're now in second place on the table, one point from LDU Quito. Haven't heard a peep from any of my Emelec supporting family back home. What an incredible day of fútbol.

Wait the community shield is already this weekend?
We haven't even got back from the break, have we? Who the fuck are we going to field in? lmao

Anybody got any idea how long the transfer window is and if it is aligned across all leagues this time?
By Perfect Blue Go To PostOnly one we seem to have paid an asking price is Havertz and if he lives up to billing it will look like a steal eventually too. Ziyech and Werner were bargain deals and Chilwell will be bought for 50m when just last week every journo was saying we'd need a world record fee of 80m to get him. Thiago Silva on a free too is just ridiculous value.
Of course you we can still get rinsed if these players flop miserably lol, but the negotiations from Marina, Cech, and Lampard seem pretty damn good on paper right now. Wonder what will come out of signing a new GK.
You paid the asking price for Ziyech m8
You guys just got lucky because we had to cut a deal with Ziyech to keep him a year longer. The deal being we would let him go for a sensible 45 million Merkels if the right club comes by for him. Which happened in the form of Chelsea. So let's not pretend Chelsea did amazing business here, it's just what it is.
