By Cleff Go To Postinsha'AllahHmm Acting out his "Ballers" role in real life.
3 years for William is a pretty shit deal, you can't built the future of the team while also buying a 31 year old winger. 1 year deal at most is what I would accept.
You'll be paying him the most he's ever received in his career for his worst years. I'd almost get it if it's at Chelsea because those sorts of contracts kind of come as a reward for prolonged service, but not for Arsenal.
Feels like a weird one for Arteta. I think he’s underrated, but doesn’t really fit the profile of the squad.
We need another winger for sure but not a backup winger for high wages, our higher priorities are another CB and creative midfielders. But yeah this screams of our club being in bed with a certain agent.
By Vini.lad Go To PostPersonally, I wouldn't fully give up on Guendouzi, but I guess Arteta already has and most likely has a good motivation for itHe's clearly a talented player but he doesn't have the right attitude so if we can sell him this summer and reinvest in a midfielder that wants to play for us then I'd be all for it.
Also I don't want Willian at all, I just don't see the point at his age and how much we're going to have to pay him when we have other players in his position.

I think this is weird to the point of revisionism.
Before Arteta came he was the only one lauded for having the right kind of attitude and indeed was often spoken of as being more mature and more of a fighter than some of his more seasoned team mates.
I say our top priority should be Parley and that 19 kid midfielder who had like 20 G+A assist on the I think hungarian league this season, we desperately need that player who unlocks teams and does not lose the ball on the last 3rd.

How good os Parley?
Yeah, we need players who create chances. We were something like 14th in shots per game at only around 10.5. Simply not good enough.
If our front 3 were constantly being fed chances Auba gets the golden boot easily next year, we have amazing finishers but we essentially finish the only chances we create every game.
So it looks like Sancho is a goer, which is nice, that being said ive never actually seen him play a game outside of youth games for City where he was most impressive, obviously so far above everyone else.
For those who have seen him, is the hype justified?

By domino Go To Postwhere the hell is Inter getting the money to do all thisThey're backed from the mothership in China.
By Pennywise Go To PostDidn't you also get the Lukaku fee this year?
And yet United is trying to act like they're broke.
Basically used it for the Maguire fee.

I think you'll like him. He's an intelligent player and is generally very efficient in his use of the ball.
What Horse said Cola.
Works incredible well in close space and knows how to get past multiple players. Good shot and decent crosses, just an incredible intelligent player.
Work ethic can be lacking, plus working back and helping the RB/LB can be problematic at times.

That's like a third of his wages at United. He's definitely getting a big signing bonus in lieu of that waived fee. Crazy that we are probably saving money still with this move.

Italians always quote after tax for salaries. Tax is about 50%
The Guardian reported on Sanchez's wages when we signed him. He got £390k per week and an extra £75k every time he played. Can see why we're happy to sell him on for no fee.
By Pennywise Go To PostFucking hell.I mean, that's just like €135k a week. Even Ramsey is on almost double that.
I remember the BBC said Sancho was on like £200k at Dortmund, so surely he’s going to be getting a decent wage
One has to wonder about the #optics

They play the Sanchez piano video again
Then
Sanchez
Jadon playing Sex Pistols’ My Way on guitar kicks in
Sancho
He turns and points to someone playing the solo from Free Bird
It’s Ed Woodward
